Furthermore, the survey also included various other questions related to the latest installment in the Zelda franchise.

According to a survey released by Nintendo Everything and conducted by Famitsu, fans of the Zelda series were asked to choose their favorite character from the game Tears of the Kingdom, released in 2023. The results of the survey revealed that Zelda received the most votes, with a total of 657. Link was a close second with 515 votes, followed by Tulin and Sidon who received 239 and 220 votes respectively. The remaining characters in the top ten were Riju, Purah, Rauru, Ganondorf, Mineru, and Addison. Notably, Master Kohga, Paya, and the Koroks did not make it into the top ten.

The Famitsu survey also included additional questions about Link's recent journey in Hyrule. Participants were asked to select the "Best Field" and the enemy that left the strongest impression. According to the survey, 58% of fans deemed the surface of Hyrule in Tears of the Kingdom as the best field, and the enemy called Gloom Spawn received the most noteworthy recognition with 252 votes.

It is important to note that this recent survey only included a small fraction of the fanbase. The results reveal that only 1,290 gamers participated in the poll, which is significantly lower than the 18 million copies of the game sold after Tears of the Kingdom's successful launch. Additionally, not all respondents answered every question. Nonetheless, it is fascinating to see which characters have garnered the most affection from some members of the community.

Despite Nintendo's current lack of plans to release new DLC for Tears of the Kingdom, dedicated fans are still actively playing the game.
