Must-Watch Entertainment on Netflix This Weekend: Unveiling the Ultimate Lineup (June 30)

This weekend, Netflix will release a psychological horror movie, the third season of a popular fantasy TV series, and an animated movie based on a graphic novel. Last weekend, Netflix added several films and TV shows to its catalog, including My Little Pony: The Movie, season 6 of Bunk’d, 90ML and Namo Venkatesa (romantic comedies), season 2 of The UnXplained with William Shatner, Ijakumo: The Born Again Stripper (a Nollywood drama), and the documentary On the Line: The Richard Williams Story. Additionally, Netflix brought Take Care of Maya (a documentary), the comedy-drama TV series Glamorous, and the rom-com The Perfect Find. This weekend, Netflix will add even more titles to its catalog, including The Imitation Game (a biopic), Annihilation (directed by Alex Garland), Kick-Ass (a superhero movie), Bridesmaids, Liar Liar, and The Sweetest Thing (comedies), the Rush Hour trilogy, Titanic (directed by James Cameron), Warm Bodies (a horror comedy), Prom Night (a horror reboot), Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness (directed by J.J. Abrams). In addition, Netflix subscribers can look forward to a psychological horror movie, the first episodes of The Witcher season 3, and an animated movie featuring a unique hero. The Witcher – season 3, part 1

Run Rabbit Run, directed by Daina Reid, is a spine-chilling psychological horror film that delves into the depths of the human mind. The story revolves around Sarah (portrayed by the talented Sarah Snook), a fertility doctor who prides herself on her profound knowledge of the circle of life. However, when Sarah's daughter mysteriously begins exhibiting peculiar behavior, she embarks on a journey to uncover the truth, challenging her own beliefs along the way. As she unravels the enigma surrounding her child, Sarah must also confront a haunting specter from her past that refuses to be forgotten. Joining the exceptional cast of Run Rabbit Run are Damon Herriman and Greta Scacchi, further enhancing the gripping and eerie atmosphere of this unsettling tale.

The first five episodes of The Witcher season 3 are not currently available for streaming on Netflix. Following the events of season 2, Geralt, Ciri, and Yennefer find themselves on the run. Monarchs, mages, and others are relentlessly pursuing Ciri for various reasons. Yennefer, having done her best to train Ciri, decides to escort her to Aretuza in search of answers about her powers. However, they will soon realize that their biggest threat is much closer than they anticipated, leading to even greater challenges. Part 2 of The Witcher season 3 is set to be released on July 27.

Nimona

Nimona, directed by Nick Bruno and Troy Quane, is an animated sci-fi adventure film based on the 2015 graphic novel by ND Stevenson. Set in a futuristic medieval world, Ballister Boldheart, voiced by Riz Ahmed, is wrongly accused of a crime and seeks help from Nimona, a shape-shifting creature played by Chloë Grace Moretz. Despite being enemies initially, they join forces to clear Ballister's name and cause chaos. The voice cast also includes Eugene Lee Yang, Frances Conroy, Lorraine Toussaint, RuPaul, and Beck Bennett.
