In certain scenes of the Umgadi trailer, Khameleon is spotted in the background while Tanya and Li Mei are engaged in conversation. This background character possesses the same distinctive features as Khameleon, such as translucent hair and pupil-less eyes, and is seen wearing the Umgadi uniform, further solidifying the connection.

Speculation from one fan suggests that Khameleon, who is allied with Tanya and Mileena, may have the ability to change her uniform's colors depending on her affiliation in the story. This feature was present in earlier games, where Khameleon would adapt her colors according to her opponents.
