The official trailer for Love Is Blind reveals a sign stating, "Love Is Blind Season 5 Live Reunion Today," indicating that the show has apparently decided against another live TV reunion special.
The crew is busy getting ready for the featured event in the clip when a team member quickly spots the word "Live" on a sign and promptly rushes over to erase it.
The trailer states, "Although it's not live, it is a must-watch experience. Join us on Sunday, October 15, at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT for a captivating viewing session."
Nick and Vanessa Lachey will once again host the reunion, where the stars of season 5 will analyze the unexpected twists and turns of this season. In addition, they will disclose the secrets that have emerged since the completion of filming. As the final episodes approach, two couples, Stacy Snyder and Izzy Zapata, and Lydia Gonzalez & James "Milton" Johnson IV, will make the pivotal decision of saying "I do" or "I don't" at the altar, having become engaged without ever seeing each other.
The LIB season 4 reunion gained attention earlier this year when it faced a 16-hour delay due to technical issues. Fans expressed their frustration as they were unable to watch the anticipated special in April. Eventually, the episode was filmed for a live audience and released on Netflix the next day. The company apologized for the inconvenience and assured viewers that they were working to make the content available as soon as possible.

After the incident, Andy Cohen, famous for hosting Real Housewives reunions, offered his perspective on why the idea of a live reunion special is ill-advised.
"We have a valid reason for not conducting live reunions," Cohen, 55, stated during his radio show. "The fact that reunion episodes are edited down serves a purpose. It often takes us 25 to 45 minutes of discussion before we truly delve into the core of a topic."
After five months, Nick, 49, joined Cohen for an interview to confront the show's unfavorable response.
Nick expressed his gratitude for the understanding and insight that the person showed regarding the complexities and challenges involved in executing the special. He acknowledged that the technology did not perform as expected. Nick also mentioned that attempting to cover all the topics and aspects of a reunion within a limited timeframe is not ideal. Love Is Blind: The Reunion will be aired on Sunday, October 15, at 8 p.m. ET.
