Megan Thee Stallion, the "Savage" rapper, will be announcing the dates and venues for her upcoming performances on Wednesday, March 20. She is already set to take the stage at three festivals this year: Bottlerock Napa Valley in California on May 24, Boston Calling on May 26, and Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tennessee on June 16.

Riding high on the success of her first solo No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, "Hiss," Megan Thee Stallion has found herself caught up in a renewed feud with Nicki Minaj. The lyrics of the song seemed to be directed towards Minaj's husband, Kenneth Petty, sparking controversy between the two artists.

In the first verse, she raps, “These hoes don’t be mad at Megan / These hoes mad at Megan’s Law.”

Megan Thee Stallion's lyric was seen as a subtle reference to registered sex offender, Petty, who was convicted of attempted rape in 1995 and failed to register as a sex offender when he moved to California from New York. This reference was made in light of Megan's Law, which was passed in the ‘90s and requires law enforcement to share information about sex offenders with the public.

Minaj quickly responded by going on Instagram Live on January 26 to have some fun after releasing her new single "Hiss." During the Live session, the 41-year-old rapper played a snippet of another new song called "Big Foot." In the song, she raps, "Bad bitch she like 6 foot / I call her big foot / The bitch fell off / I said get up on your good foot."

The lyrics in "Big Foot" seemed to allude to Megan being shot in the foot by Tory Lanez in 2020. Lanez, who is 31 years old, was later convicted of three felony assault charges related to the shooting. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison in August 2023.

Minaj criticized Megan's rapping abilities, pointing out that despite having three Grammys, she needs to work on rapping on beat and feeling more at ease with the music. She even imitated Megan's quick flow.
