Megan Thee Stallion likes to have sex – but it may be a while before she invites anyone into her bed.
During an Instagram Live on November 23, Megan, 28, poked fun at those who were overly interested in her personal life. “It’s like nobody pays attention to my music. They're like, [shocked gasp] ‘Megan Thee Stallion…I can't believe she enjoys intimacy! I can't believe Megan The Stallion enjoys intimacy!’” she said with a laugh. While acknowledging this, she did mention that she was making a change when it came to her private life.
“I’m selective when it comes to intimacy,” she stated in the video captured by a fan. “I'm not as daring anymore,” said Megan, expressing her weariness with relationships. “I'm over it. I'm over the single life. It's too toxic. I'm tired of the single life,” she said.
Megan's recent decision to take a break from dating follows her breakup with Pardison Fontaine, with rumors of infidelity on Fontaine's part. In her latest song, "Cobra," Megan reveals catching a past lover in the act of cheating. She raps about feeling anxious and canceling plans, expressing her frustration and desire for a break from the drama.
Fontaine fired back with the release of “Thee Person” on November 18th, in which he made allegations about Megan sleeping with her close friend and music producer LilJuMadeDaBeat. The track also included Fontaine's plans to propose, his description of Megan's "ugly soul," and his frustration over the public conflicts between him and Tory Lanez, as he rapped, "beefin’ with n—s you know you was f—kin’."

Megan acknowledged in December 2022 that she had a sexual relationship with Lanez, 31, despite previously denying it publicly. In the trial for the 2020 incident in which Lanez shot at Megan's feet following a heated argument, the "WAP" rapper explained that she initially denied the relationship out of embarrassment. She questioned, "How could I be intimate with someone who would treat me this way?"
Megan incorporated snake imagery in her "Cobra" music video, while Fontaine's single featured artwork inspired by the computer game Snake. Despite this, Pardison's diss track failed to impress fans. According to The Root's Candace McDuffie, Pardison's song only serves to highlight his lack of skill in rapping, ultimately embarrassing himself rather than Megan.
