Hip-hop sensation Megan Thee Stallion embraces the Halloween spirit by beautifully transforming into a beloved character from the anime series, Soul Eater Join her in celebrating this fan-favorite as she pays homage to the captivating world of Soul Eater through her stunning portrayal

Megan Thee Stallion is starting Halloween with a new anime-inspired costume from the Soul Eater anime series.

On her official social media profiles, the hip-hop artist unveiled her Death the Kid cosplay for Halloween. Alongside sharing pictures of herself dressed as the son of Death, Stallion also showcased artwork featuring her as a Black woman alongside the Demon Twin Guns, Liz Thompson and Patty Thompson. The artist responsible for the Soul Eater artwork has not been credited at the moment.

Stallion has a history of embracing her love for anime by dressing up as different characters. Previously, she cosplayed as Shoto Todoroki and Mirko from My Hero Academia, as well as characters from Kakegurui and The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. Anime artists have also taken notice of her, as an assistant for the My Hero Academia manga used her photos as a reference to create fan art of Mirko. Not only that, but the iconic rabbit hero, Rumi Usagiyama, was depicted wearing the same outfits Stallion wore to public events, striking the same poses.

It is quite evident that Stallion openly expresses her fondness for anime. In a previous interview with AnimeFitLa, she mentioned watching popular series like Highschool of the Dead, Assassination Classroom, Soul Eater, Hunter x Hunter, and Attack on Titan. She even took her love for anime to the next level by adorning her nails in the style of Blue Exorcist.

Stallion is not the only Western celebrity interested in anime. Michael B. Jordan, the star and director of Creed III, acknowledged the influence of Dragon Ball Z and Akira on the third instalment of the boxing franchise. American singer and songwriter Billie Eilish even wore an outfit featuring Tamaki Kotatsu from the Fire Force anime. Atsushi Ohkubo, the creator of Soul Eater and Fire Force, expressed his approval of her attire on social media.

Both Soul Eater and its slice-of-life spinoff, Soul Eater Not!, can be streamed on platforms like Crunchyroll. The Fire Force anime series is also available on Crunchyroll and Hulu.

Megan Thee Stallion's Halloween costume as Death the Kid from Soul Eater is absolutely stunning! She perfectly captures the character's iconic look, from the white hair and red eyes to the black and white striped suit. I especially love the way she accessorized with the Demon Twin Guns, Liz Thompson and Patty Thompson. It's clear that she put a lot of thought and effort into this costume, and it really paid off.

I'm so glad that Megan Thee Stallion is such a fan of anime. It's great to see someone with such a large platform using their voice to promote anime and manga. I hope that her love for anime will inspire other people to check out the medium and discover all the amazing stories and characters it has to offer.
