Megan Thee Stallion is in trouble with the law because she is accused of having sex in front of a former employee.
A lawsuit was filed by her former cameraman, Emilio Garcia, on Monday, April 22. He claims that Megan, whose real name is Megan Pete and is 29 years old, created a hostile work environment and harassed him.
In court documents obtained by We, Garcia recalled an alleged incident that took place in Ibiza, Spain, when he was traveling on tour with Megan in 2022.
Garcia stated that after a night out, he, Megan, and three other women were riding in an SUV together. Suddenly, Megan and one of the other women started having sex right beside Garcia. He felt embarrassed, mortified, and offended as he was unable to get out of the moving car in a foreign country.
Garcia said that Megan told him not to talk about what he saw and then made hurtful comments like "Fat Bitch" and "You don't need to be eating." The lawsuit claims that this behavior made Garcia's work environment unbearable.
Furthermore, Garcia stated that he was classified as an independent contractor while working for Megan, which meant he didn't receive the protections that employees are entitled to under California law.

Garcia worked long hours every day and was often interrupted by Megan during dinner for help with her TikTok ideas. The lawsuit claims Garcia was not paid overtime for his extra work.
Megan responded to the allegations through a statement from her lawyer, Alex Spiro.
Spiro stated in a message to Us that this is a case about seeking money in an employment dispute, without any allegations of sexual harassment and with sensational claims made to humiliate her. He mentioned that they will address this matter in court.
During an interview with NBC News released on Tuesday, Garcia, who was employed by Megan from 2018 to 2023, provided more details about the allegations mentioned in the lawsuit.
He mentioned feeling uncomfortable and shocked when he witnessed Megan allegedly having sex right beside him. He described feeling frozen and surprised by the audacity of the situation.
Regarding the alleged fat-shaming comments, Garcia expressed feeling degraded by hearing someone who promotes body positivity make such hurtful remarks. He was disappointed to hear conflicting messages from someone who advocates for loving your body.
Throughout my years of experience, I have come to realize that the entertainment industry does not have an HR department like office environments do. It is important to advocate for yourself, especially if you are unaware of any mistreatment. Seek advice from peers who have representation such as agents, managers, and attorneys. I strongly encourage everyone to stand up for themselves and advocate for what they deserve.
