Megan Fox confessed that she wasn't the best partner to Brian Austin Green while they were in a relationship.

During the "Call Her Daddy" podcast on Tuesday, March 19, Fox, who is 37 years old, shared that it would be easy for her to complain or make it seem like the relationship was one-sided. She admitted, "I was not great because I was young and probably shouldn't have been in a serious relationship of that level at that time."

Fox and Green first met in 2004 on the set of Hope & Faith when Fox was just 18 years old. Green, who is now 50 years old, is about 13 years older than Fox. Despite their age difference, Fox admitted that their relationship was not always great.

Reflecting on her past, Fox shared that she often found herself falling in love with different people while working. She explained that because she was young, she never had the chance to fully experience being single and exploring life. After her divorce, Fox initially thought she would embrace single life, but found herself in another relationship after only three weeks.

Fox and Green had their fair share of ups and downs in their relationship. They began dating in 2004 and got engaged in November 2006. Although they called off their wedding in 2009, they eventually reconciled and got married the following year.

In August 2015, Fox first filed for divorce from Green. Even though they were back together, Fox didn't dismiss the case until 2019. However, by 2020, their relationship had come to an end with Green confirming the split in May of that year. She filed for divorce again in November, and they reached a settlement in February 2022. The couple shares custody of their three kids: Noah, 10, Bodhi, 9, and Journey, 6.

Fox has moved on with Machine Gun Kelly, while Green got engaged to Sharna Burgess in September 2023.

During her interview on "Call Her Daddy," Fox discussed her views on marriage. She described her relationship with Green as "unfulfilling" and clarified that her comments were not meant as a dig at her ex-husband.

Fox expressed her discomfort with the idea of marriage, stating that even thinking about it made her feel tense. She mentioned feeling her chakras tighten up and her back becoming tight, despite having been married for a significant period of time.

She did mention that her perspective on marriage changed after she became a mother. "Before that, I didn't really think about how marriage made me feel. It was something I decided to do on a whim," she explained. "It felt like an exciting journey to embark on. By that time, we had already been together for many years, and I believe that it was meant to be that we have children together."

Fox had mixed feelings about marriage, but she did agree to get engaged to MGK in January 2022. Despite this, the couple faced challenges in planning their wedding. A source revealed to We in October 2023 that their wedding preparations had come to a temporary halt.

The insider clarified that Fox and MGK decided to prioritize strengthening their relationship before moving forward with wedding plans.
