The Usazum Shrine, in particular, is a must-visit location where players can obtain the valuable crystal. Where to find the Usazum Shrine

The Usazum Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom presents a unique challenge that takes place outside of the shrine itself. Players must complete this challenge in order to obtain the coveted Light of Blessing. If you're looking to conquer this challenge, read on for instructions on where to find the Usazum Shrine and how to successfully complete it.

Located at -2136, -0874, 0093, the Usazum Shrine is situated just southwest of the Sonapan Shrine and stands at the edge of Dalite Forest. However, upon approaching the shrine, players will notice that half of it is missing. To access the interior space of the shrine, players must find the crystal, just like they would with any other shrine. Luckily, Tears of the Kingdom players won't need to travel too far. All they need to do is interact with the shrine to open up the option for fast travel, and then follow the green light that leads to a nearby cave at -2197, -0814, 0116.

As players venture deeper into the cave, an unusual sight catches their attention. The green light, typically stationary in this type of puzzle, is now in motion. Upon closer inspection, they discover that the crystal has been repurposed as a piece of jewelry adorning the neck of a massive Hinox. The ground begins to tremble beneath their feet, indicating their proximity to the formidable foe.

How to Get the Crystal

To obtain the crystal, players must vanquish the Hinox that bears it as a necklace. The most effective method to defeat a Hinox is by shooting its eye to immobilize it and then launch an attack. Bomb Flowers fastened to arrows can also prove helpful in this battle.

After defeating the Hinox, retrieve the crystal and proceed with caution towards the base of the Usazum Shrine. In case of getting lost, the green light will guide players back to the shrine. As soon as the shrine is reached, a cutscene will initiate, and the doors will open. As the shrine required the defeat of a mini-boss, no further puzzles need to be solved inside.

However, the shrine does not hold any secrets or powerful artifacts, except for a chest that contains a Strong Zonaite Spear and an altar. When players pay their respects to the altar, they are bestowed with a Light of Blessing that can be utilized to enhance their health or stamina, depending on their preference.
