Always be cautious when facing her in close combat as she wields her sword with remarkable speed. It is crucial to swiftly dodge her extended combos as soon as she initiates her swings.

In situations where she is at a distance, be prepared for her powerful ice projectiles. To avoid being struck, maintain constant movement or utilize Precision Dodge to effectively retaliate.

Utilize the power of Shiva's Dominant to unleash Blizzard, a powerful area-of-effect spell that covers the surroundings with ice. To maximize damage, strategically position yourself outside the affected area and employ Charged Spells.

To maintain dominance over the enemy, seamlessly merge Phoenix Shift and Rising Flame abilities. This combination will enable you to stay one step ahead of your opponent and gradually wear them down. Eventually, the enemy will be left vulnerable and staggered. Take advantage of this opportune moment to unleash a barrage of attacks, utilizing every available offensive option at your disposal.

Second Phase

Shiva's Dominant becomes increasingly desperate as her health dwindles, posing a greater threat to Clive and his allies. Her attacks become more frequent and she now utilizes Blizzaga to target larger areas with area-of-effect damage. It is crucial to evade these affected areas in order to preserve Clive's health.

Furthermore, this stage of the game introduces the Parry mechanic, allowing players to execute a perfect block by pressing Square at the precise moment an opponent attacks. This grants a temporary time slowdown and an opportunity for free hits. Continue with an aggressive attack strategy, particularly when Shiva's Dominant is focused on others, and she will eventually be defeated.

The reward for besting this boss will be 48 XP, 200 Gil, and a bunch of items, including two Frozen Tears, which can be used in crafting.
