With plenty to keep players engaged and returning for more, it's no surprise that some may find themselves wanting to start over with a clean slate. However, deleting a character in V Rising can be confusing for those who are unfamiliar with the process. How to Delete Character in V Rising

Unfortunately, there is no way to officially delete a character in V Rising.

When V Rising was first released, players did have the option to delete their character. While the feature is not available now, it could make a return in the near future.

- Delete Local Save

Players that are playing offline or solo can delete their character and start with a new one by following these instructions:

Press Continue on the main menu. Under Local Saves, delete the save for the character that has to be deleted. Select Delete Save.

This process will delete the player’s save, including their character and progress.

Characters created on a server cannot be deleted, but players can change their character’s appearance using a Mirror.

Players can customize their character’s features, such as hair, skin tone, eye color, and face, using the Mirror. This tool is unlocked after completing the tutorial and can be crafted using 4 Copper Ingots and 8 Wood Planks. Once placed in the player’s castle, the Mirror allows them to modify their character’s appearance whenever they wish.

Players who desire a fresh start with a new character in V Rising are limited to creating one on a different server. Unfortunately, this means that they will not be able to play alongside their friends unless they also create a new character. To ensure that the deleted file is not overwritten with a copy from the cloud, it is important to disable Steam Sync. This can be done in Steam by accessing the Settings menu and navigating to the Cloud section. Once there, uncheck the Enable Steam Cloud Synchronization option. To locate and delete the ServerHistory.json file, follow this path: C:\Users\You\AppData\LocalLow\Stunlock Studios\VRising\Settings. V Rising is currently available on PC.
