Players are unable to construct a Prison during the early stages of the game, as it becomes accessible only after the player has defeated multiple bosses and progressed further. Once the option becomes available, players must work towards unlocking Prison Cells by undertaking the following steps: Firstly, locate Vincent the Frostbiter in the Dunley Farmlands by interacting with the Blood Altar. Secondly, defeat Vincent the Frostbiter to acquire his V Blood. Finally, obtain the Prison Cell recipe.

To construct a functioning Prison system in the game, players must first create a closed room within their castle. Once this is done, they can proceed to build multiple Prison Cells, each of which requires 12 ingots obtained through processing Iron Ore at the Furnace.

Building an intricate Prison system is possible by constructing several Prison Cells. To enhance the efficiency of the system, players can utilize Prison Flooring, which can be unlocked by accessing Athenaeum from the technology research station. Defeating Raziel the Shepherd in Dunley Monastery is a prerequisite to unlocking Athenaeum. To access the Build Menu, simply press B on the keyboard and select Dominance under the Production tab. Place the Prison Cell in the castle to begin building your Prison system.

Discovering the Prison Flooring book through defeating opponents grants players access to this feature, which provides prisoners with increased protection against damage during the blood extraction process. While players can also unlock Prison Walls, it will not affect the cells within the prison.

Once players have established their own prison, they can use their charm to capture enemies and bring them back to their castle as prisoners. These enchanted foes can then be locked up and used as a source of blood for the player. However, it is important to note that prisoners must be fed in order to keep them alive.
