Master the Mayaumekis Shrine with Lift Ships in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Players in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom have a chance to complete more than 150 shrines that reward Lights of Blessing upon completion. These lights are essential for gaining Heart and Stamina Containers, which are crucial resources in the game. Therefore, it is advisable for players to complete as many shrines as possible to enhance Link's stats.

One of the shrines, the Mayaumekis Shrine, has a challenge called Downward Force. In this challenge, players are required to use Lift Ships to launch themselves through the air and into a secret chamber where they can receive their reward.

To locate the Mayaumekis Shrine, players will need to explore the game world.

Located in the Sky Isles, specifically in the Rising Island Chain, is the Mayaumekis Shrine. This shrine is usually stumbled upon by players while they are undertaking the "Tulin of Rito Village" quest. To be exact, the coordinates of the shrine are (-2946,3052,0897).

The Mayaumekis Shrine comprises a small antechamber and a vast space filled with Lift Ships and a solitary adversary. To navigate through the shrine, Link must have impeccable timing, employ a few arrows, and rely on his unyielding leg muscles. The Lift Ships will repeatedly launch him into the air, making for an exhilarating journey.

Upon entering the next room, players will be greeted with a mysterious sight. The purpose of the room is not immediately clear, but a closer inspection reveals an orange pedestal behind the bars on the right side of the door. By shooting it with an arrow or sticking it with a spear, the pedestal will turn green and the door will open, allowing players to progress.

The room opens up into a larger space, with a ramp leading up to a raised platform and several Lift Ships scattered around. Players should take out the Soldier Construct II waiting for them at the top of the ramp before using the first Lift Ship to ascend to a square-shaped platform above.

To reach their destination, players on this platform can spot a block high up to the left where a chest containing ten Arrows is located, and a sealed chamber on the right. Additionally, a Lift Ship orbits the room in front of them.

To obtain the chest, players must glide and time their landing on the moving Lift Ship as it passes near the platform. Alternatively, they can use the same Lift Ship to reach the square platform beneath the sealed chamber on the right.

To access the sealed-up chamber, use the Lift Ship adjacent to the platform to launch Link into the air. While soaring through the air, keep an eye out for an orange pedestal and quickly pull out your bow to shoot it. This will unlock the gate located beneath the chamber.

With the gate now open, glide down to the Lift Ship below and use it to launch yourself up into the chamber. Once inside, accept your well-deserved Blessing.
