Master the Low Gravity Proving Grounds in Yansamin Shrine - Zelda Walkthrough

The Yansamin Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a proving grounds shrine that demands players to showcase their combat skills to attain victory. With numerous enemies to defeat, the shrine presents a challenge that tests the players' mastery over the game's combat system. However, the low gravity inside the shrine can create a slight obstacle, but players who use it to their advantage can make the proving grounds one of the easiest in the game.

Yansamin Shrine Location

Upon arrival at Zonaite Forge Island in the East Necluda Sky region, players must interact with the Zonai gate near the locked entrance. From there, they can ascend to the top of the forge using Link's Paraglider and the hot air emitted from the now-active smoke stacks. Once at the top, players can drop down below, taking care to avoid the red lasers. The Yansamin Shrine can be found at coordinates 2351, -1783, 1475.

Yansamin Shrine Walkthrough

The Yansamin Shrine presents a unique challenge with its low gravity environment, offering advantages and disadvantages to Link. While attacking from above is effective, dodging can become difficult due to Link's slow movement in the air. However, players only need to worry about one troublesome enemy, which can be taken out once they have better equipped themselves. To begin, players should climb up onto the large platform on their left.

After defeating the Soldier Construct and collecting its loot, players can enhance their shield by attaching one of the two rockets to it. Activating the rocket by holding ZL will launch Link high into the air, allowing for gliding towards the highest platform. The enemy on the platform can then be attacked from above. Progressing from platform to platform will lead to a Zonai Beam Emitter, which can be used to eliminate the three enemies at a distance.

With only one enemy left, players can make use of the Zonai Beam Emitter and take out the Soldier Construct directly below the platform. Those with arrows can glide down and shoot at the explosive red barrels nearby for an easy takedown, while others can simply walk off the platform and use the emitter to defeat the construct. It's important to move from left to right to avoid the construct's arrows during the attack.

After defeating the final enemy, players can proceed to the statue room where they will come across a chest containing a valuable Large Zonaite and the highly sought-after Light of Blessing. As they leave the shrine, it is recommended that they make a quick stop at the nearby chest to acquire the Zonaite Waistguard, which is widely considered as the best armor set in Tears of the Kingdom.
