Master the Construct Factory's Depot Puzzles in Zelda

As Link embarks on his mission to find the Sages, the Master Sword, and Princess Zelda, he will encounter various dungeons, one of which is the Construct Factory. This dungeon, found later in the game, requires players to assemble a Zonai Construct for the Sage of Spirit. To achieve this, Link must navigate through four depots surrounding the main factory building and retrieve the necessary parts.

The Construct Factory Guide

On arriving at the Construct Factory with the strange mask, players should immediately head a little south to activate the Muokuiji Lightroot, allowing fast travel back to the Factory whenever needed. This will also reveal the area on the map.

Link must take the mask to the factory and insert it into a corresponding empty slot. Mineru will then request parts from four depots in the vicinity to construct a new body. Each of these depots is accompanied by a small puzzle that Link must solve in order to obtain the parts.

Left-Arm Depot Guide

Activate the nearby Zonai terminal to release the left arm container and seal the door Link entered through. Next, activate the large wheel nearby to open the door and carry the container through. On the other side of the door, detach and retrieve the wheel and two more wheels from this side. Attach them to the container to create a steerable car and drive it across the lava bridge to the other side of the room. Disassemble the contraption and attach one wheel to each of the shorter sides of the container to make it wide enough to place its wheels on the narrow ledges on either side of the lava pit between Link and the next room.

Attach the steering stick to the container and maneuver it across the water. Once on the other side, attach a wheel to the door and connect the block on the end of the chain to it. Activate the wheel to lift the door and transport the left-arm container through the now-opened entrance.

Once inside, players will find some fans that can be attached to the container. Place the container in the water and use the steering stick to navigate it back towards the main factory. Position the container near the mask's plug-in spot to break it and release the arm. Now, simply slot in the left arm to complete the task.

Left-Leg Depot Guide

Activate the Zonai terminal located in the Left-Leg Depot to seal the entrance and release the Left-Leg Container. Place the container on one of the nearby elevators and use a rocket to transport it to the top. Once at the top, position the Container on the movable ramp by using the spinning switch located nearby. Attach rockets to the ramp, climb on top of it, and ride the container across the gap and into the next section.

In the next section, place the container in the floor's groove facing outward into the depths. Attach rockets from the nearby elevator onto the container, hop on, and fire it out into the depths with Link riding it. The container and Link should land near the main factory. Carry the container in and slot the left leg into its designated place.

Right-Leg Depot Guide

As Link enters the Depot, he activates a Terminal and boards a fan-powered elevator to reach the next level. However, he is faced with a daunting puzzle that involves transporting a container up a set of tracks. The tracks are obstructed, making it a challenging task to navigate. To make it easier, players can use Recall to skip the puzzle altogether.

Attach a hook to the top of the container, followed by another hook to the top of the first one. Carry them both underneath the far ledge of the room and hold them high in the air near the upper ledge for a few seconds. Bring them back down and initiate Recall to send them back up. As they rewind, Link can use Ascend under the ledge to climb up and use Ultrahand to grab the container and hooks as they rise. This way, he can skip the rail puzzle entirely and pull them onto the ledge. After that, take the container to the next elevator, ride it up, and attach both the container and fans to a glider. Use the nearby launch point to ride the glider down to the Construct Factory with the Right-Leg in tow.

Right-Arm Depot Guide

In the Right-Arm Depot, Link must activate a terminal and then transport a container on a conveyor belt to the next section. However, this section requires players to attach wheels to the container at various angles to prevent it from falling off an electrified beam. Once the wheels are attached, players can activate them to move the container across the beam. As shown in the image above, a sled can be used as an example device for this task.

Carry the container through the door and use the nearby extra wheels and steering stick to assemble a car with the container as the body. Drive the car down to the factory to deliver it and complete the Construct Factory. To activate the Ascend power, glide under the beam and use the tunnel on the far side before meeting the container.
