In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players have access to a wide range of materials and cooking ingredients, each serving a unique purpose. These resources can be utilized to enhance the power of arrows and weapons, craft beneficial elixirs, prepare nourishing meals, and reinforce Link's armor to bolster his defense against the Demon King's minions. The following guide centers around Sticky Lizards, providing players with valuable tips on locating and capturing them, as well as maximizing their usefulness within the game.
How to Use Sticky Lizards
Sticky Lizards are unique creatures that players can utilize to enhance specific armor pieces and create valuable elixirs. Their adhesive quality distinguishes them from other lizards within the game, allowing them to cling effortlessly to the walls of even the most damp caves in Hyrule. By combining these creatures with monster parts in a cooking pot, Link can create Sticky Elixir, enabling him to adhere to wet surfaces without slipping.
Upon completion of the Potential Princess Sighting sidequest, players will be rewarded with the Froggy armor set in its entirety. However, to unlock its full potential, players must provide a substantial number of Sticky Lizards to the Great Fairies. In order to upgrade all three armor pieces, a total of 24 Sticky Lizards will be necessary.
How to Farm Sticky Lizards
Sticky Lizards are pretty common creatures in most caves in Hyrule. They tend to enjoy locations with a wet atmosphere, so these are their preferred places to inhabit.
To find Sticky Lizards, it is most effective to explore locations with abundant caves. Among the various regions in Tears of the Kingdom, the Lanayru area stands out for having the highest number of caves. Specifically, the area located just southwest of the Upland Zorana Skyview Tower boasts a multitude of caves.
To efficiently farm Sticky Lizards, fuse an arrow with elemental Chuchu Jelly and target a wall area where several lizards are present. The bursting impact of the elemental Chuchu Jelly will cover a broader range, stunning the lizards and rendering them immobile on the ground.
Alternatively, it is possible for players to wear attire with stealth capabilities or consume a stealth potion. However, this method may require more time as the players still need to cautiously and silently approach the lizards to prevent them from fleeing.
Sticky Lizards are also available for purchase from Beedle at South Akkala Stable. Currently, he has two of them in stock, and the price for each lizard is 32 Rupees.
The game titled The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can be played on the Nintendo Switch console.
