This implies that the upcoming significant announcement for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet could occur on August 22, although the nature of the tease is still uncertain. However, the prevailing speculation suggests that August 22 will mark the revelation of a new Pokemon for the Teal Mask DLC in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

It is important to note that there are already Pokemon with a tea theme - Sinistea and Polteageist, which were introduced in Pokemon Sword and Shield. This suggests that the new Pokemon could potentially be part of the Sinistea/ Polteageist evolution line. ComicBook suggests that the new Pokemon might be a "convergent" form of Sinistea or Polteageist, which is highly plausible.

For those who may not be familiar with the concept of convergent Pokemon, they were introduced in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. These Pokemon are essentially regional variants of existing ones. However, instead of being considered the same Pokemon with a different name and type, they are classified as entirely new creatures.
