Mario Lopez shared on his Instagram Stories that he finds Carson Daly's advice of sleeping in separate bedrooms with his wife Courtney Lopez too spicy for his liking. He mentioned that he gets too frisky in the middle of the night and this approach is not for him.

In an interview with People on Tuesday, April 9, Daly, 50, shared that he and his wife, Siri Pinter, enjoy sleeping in separate rooms a few times a week. He humorously mentioned that this nighttime arrangement is their way of "staying together" and ensuring they maintain a strong relationship throughout their lives.

Daly, 50, and Pinter, 43, got married in 2015 and are parents to sons Jackson, 14, and Landon, 9, as well as daughters Etta, 11, and Goldie, 4. Daly mentioned that their practice of "sleep divorce" helps them keep the romance alive in their relationship, even if they don't do it every night.

"It’s been helpful for us," he mentioned. "We don’t do it every night, but a few days during the week — especially when I want to stay up late to watch an Islanders hockey game — I go to the guest room, while she goes upstairs to read or watch a show."

The couple has been sleeping in separate rooms since Goldie became a part of the family in 2019 when Pinter was pregnant. Daly's sleep apnea also played a role in the decision to have their own sleeping spaces.

"We’re both pretty big people, and it was tough when she was in her third trimester. I also have sleep apnea, which I’m sure is very attractive to the ladies," Daly shared with People in 2020. "She couldn’t find a comfortable position, so we were like those couples in commercials, kicking each other and not getting any sleep."

Mario and Courtney got married in 2012. They have three children together: Gia, who is 13 years old, Dominic, who is 10 years old, and Santino, who is 4 years old. They may not follow the same nighttime routine as Daly and Pinter, but they find other ways to keep their love strong, such as supporting each other in their careers.

Mario shared with We in October 2023 that Courtney is not only super cool but also very supportive. He appreciates how she understands the flexibility of his schedule and praises her for being a great mom. Together, they have a lot of fun and share many laughs.

The couple makes sure to prioritize spending quality time together by going on occasional date nights. They also make it a priority to have private getaways without the kids, allowing them to relax and enjoy each other's company.

He advised us, "It's important to prioritize taking care of your relationship. You don't want to just give your significant other leftovers."

Mario often shows his love for his wife on social media. Recently, he posted a sweet selfie of them for "Women Crush Wednesday," with the caption, "I fall for her a little bit more every day."
