In the ninth generation of the Pokemon franchise, a special category of Pokemon known as Paradox Pokemon exists in the world of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. These Paradox Pokemon are either ancestors from the past or descendants from the future of existing Pokemon. The ancient forms can be found in Scarlet, while the futuristic ones are present in Violet. Although the general consensus is that Scarlet's ancient designs are more varied and imaginative, there are instances where this creativity doesn't quite work, as seen with Raikou's ancient Paradox relative, Raging Bolt.
The Flygon concept, known as Paradox form, is an impressive creation by Reddit user HertzBurst. Shared on a popular Pokemon forum, the design called Iron Wings maintains Flygon's signature features while incorporating a futuristic aesthetic. Notable modifications include adding extra polygons to the wings and tail tips, creating a floating detached appearance. The limbs now possess mechanical articulating joints, and the eyes resemble a digital display. Despite these changes, Flygon's original color scheme remains intact, albeit updated with metallic sheen and textures. Alongside the initial image, HertzBurst shares additional artwork, including a captivating variation of the shiny Iron Wings design. The post has amassed over 500 upvotes in just a few hours, impressing numerous Pokemon enthusiasts. This isn't the first time HertzBurst has presented a remarkable Paradox form concept for a Pokemon. Previously, they gained attention for their astonishing Lugia Paradox form, which also retained the Pokemon's distinctive features while introducing futuristic elements.
