Madonna, the pop icon, is currently on tour with four of her six children: 18-year-old son David, 18-year-old daughter Mercy, and 11-year-old twin daughters Stella and Estere. She recently took to Instagram on Thursday, April 25, to praise her kids for their dedication and hard work during the tour.
Before our 80th show of the Celebration Tour, I want to give a shoutout to my amazing kids who have been by my side every step of the way. Each of them brings their own special talent to the stage, and I couldn't have done it without them.
Rehearsals for this tour started over a year ago, with a brief pause when I needed time to recover from a serious health scare. But my kids never gave up - they kept practicing, cheering me on, and supporting me through it all. Their energy and dedication kept me going, even as they juggled school and nightly rehearsals. I am incredibly proud of each and every one of them.

Madonna was diagnosed with a severe bacterial infection in June 2023 and had to be placed in a medically induced coma. As a result, she decided to postpone The Celebration Tour’s original start date from October 2023 to December of the same year.
During a performance at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, last month, Madonna opened up about the frightening experience. She shared with the audience, "It was a pretty scary time for me. I was unaware of my condition for four days while in the induced coma. When I finally regained consciousness, the first word I uttered was 'No,' or so my assistant informed me," as reported by Variety.
Madonna didn't let a health crisis slow her down. Despite falling off horses and breaking bones, she hit the road with her kids in December 2023.
In a recent Instagram post, Madonna shared that her children learned the value of hard work while rehearsing and performing. She emphasized the importance of pursuing dreams and the journey of blood, sweat, and tears. It's a celebration of their dedication and perseverance.
Madonna has a daughter named Lourdes, who is 27, with her ex Carlos Leon and a son named Rocco, who is 23, with her ex-husband Guy Ritchie. She also has four adopted children.
Last summer, when Madonna fell ill, she appreciated how her children supported her during that challenging time. The Grammy winner praised her children for being there for her.
In July 2023, she shared on Instagram how her children, David and Lourdes, really stepped up for her when she needed them the most. Seeing this new side of them made a big impact on her. As a mother, it's easy to get caught up in taking care of your children, but their support meant everything to her.
