Luke Bryan's Mishap at Vancouver Concert: Fan's Cell Phone Slip Leads to On-Stage Tumble

Witness an unexpected moment as Luke Bryan stumbles during his Vancouver concert due to a fan's misplaced cell phone. The incident sparks humor and concern among fans as Luke reassures with a hint of legal jest.

Luke Bryan had a little mishap during his show.

While performing at the Coast City Country Festival in Vancouver, Canada on Saturday, April 20, the 47-year-old singer unexpectedly took a tumble and fell on his back. Despite the fall, Bryan found humor in the situation and was seen laughing as he quickly got back up and even showed the audience his phone.

"Wait, did anyone catch that?" Bryan inquired, as seen in a fan video on YouTube, while he inspected his elbow for any injuries he may have gotten from the fall.

"No worries. My lawyer will be in touch," Bryan quipped, playfully tossing his phone to a spectator.

Bryan then asked someone from the audience to show him the video of his accident. He jokingly mentioned, "You’re Snapchatting. You can’t Snapchat this s–t."

When a fan handed him their phone, he lifted it up for everyone to watch. Excitedly, he exclaimed, "Oh, yes!" as he watched the fall and replayed the video. "Alright, here we go again. There I am, there we go … there it is!"

Bryan playfully mentioned that he needed something to stir up chatter online, exclaiming, "This is going viral, this is definitely going viral." He urged his followers to use the hashtag “Love You, Miss You, Mean It,” which is a nod to one of his popular songs.

After picking himself up from the floor, Bryan jokingly pretended to wipe away the imaginary spot where he had fallen before resuming his performance.

Bryan shared a montage from the first leg of his tour on Instagram the following day. He excitedly captioned the post with "Let’s go #MindOfACountryBoyTour" on Sunday, April 21.

The Canadian leg of Bryan’s Mind of a Country Boy Tour will come to a close on Thursday, April 25. After that, he will kick off the next part of his tour in June, starting in Jacksonville, Florida.

Fans can currently see Bryan as a judge on American Idol, a reality singing competition show where he has been a part of the panel alongside Katy Perry and Lionel Richie since season 16 in 2018.

When Perry, who is 39 years old, shared in February that this season might be her final one on the show, Bryan admitted that he wasn't caught off guard by her announcement.

Bryan shared with Taste of Country that he had heard rumors about her considering leaving, so it wasn't a big surprise to him. He believes she may have made the decision in the heat of the moment during her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Don't forget to catch American Idol on ABC every Sunday and Monday at 8 p.m. ET.
