Luke Bryan found humor in his recent fall, which was brought up during an episode of American Idol on Sunday, April 21. Host Ryan Seacrest mentioned the now-viral moment to Bryan.
"I just want to check in with you, Luke. Are you feeling alright?" Seacrest, 49, teased. "You seemed fine at the beginning of the show. No injuries or anything, right?"
Following this, Katy Perry encouraged Bryan, 47, to speak up and share his perspective. At first, Bryan pretended to be clueless about Seacrest's question, jokingly asking, "What's going on, Ryan?"
After playing a clip of Bryan's slip-up, Seacrest asked him about the incident. Bryan responded by calling it "good old-fashioned foolishness." He reassured everyone by saying, "I'm alright, baby!" and even went on to describe it as the best moment of the night.

Bryan kept his positive attitude while singing John Mellencamp's "Small Town" on live TV.
During the broadcast on Saturday, April 20, footage captured Bryan slipping on a fan's phone and falling on his back. However, he quickly recovered and laughed off the incident.
"Wait, did anyone catch that?" Bryan asked the crowd while checking himself for any injuries. "Don't worry. My lawyer will be in touch."
He tossed the phone back to the audience and inquired if anyone had recorded his fall. "You can't Snapchat this," he said to a spectator. "Oh, yeah! Here we go again. There I am, there it is... this is going viral, for sure."
Bryan made headlines earlier this month for addressing speculation about his “red” eyes and swollen hands. In an interview, Bryan clarified that his appearance was not due to smoking marijuana, as some fans had feared.
During an interview on April 16 with Audacy, Bryan explained, “Just so we know, if I do interviews and I look like I’ve been smoking pot, that’s not true. I’ve been catching bass.” He went on to attribute his red eyes and swollen hands to an allergy he has. Bryan shared, “If I touch a bass, my eyes will get red, my hands will swell if I have to take the hook out. I’ll get in front of it. I’m like, ‘I know I’m going to fish today,’ so I’ll take an Allegra in the morning.”
Bryan admitted that he was unaware of his health issue for many years.
He reminisced about how his dad used to take him fishing, and he would struggle to breathe in the back of the boat, possibly needing an EpiPen. His dad would just brush it off, attributing it to allergies from the trees. They later discovered it was actually a reaction to touching the bass.
Bryan shared a lighthearted joke about his fish allergy, saying that his experience could help others who also suffer from being "cursed by the touch" of fish. He mentioned that sunfish, brim, and shell cracker are particularly problematic for him.
