Lukas Gage seemed to be in high spirits when walking his first red carpet since estranged husband Chris Appleton filed for divorce.
The White Lotus actor, aged 28, made an appearance at the Los Angeles premiere of Fargo season 5 on Wednesday, November 15. He was dressed in all black, sporting a zip-up jacket, pants, and chunky loafers. Gage, known for his role as Lars Olmstead in the upcoming FX series, posed for the cameras with a smile.
Gage and Appleton, aged 40, were married for six months before news broke on Monday, November 13 of the celebrity hairstylist filing for divorce. According to court documents obtained by Us, Appleton stated "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their split, with their official separation date listed as Friday, November 10.

“This is not where they wanted this to end up,” a source exclusively told Us about the breakup, noting that the divorce is “not amicable.”
According to an insider, it will require some time for both individuals to overcome this situation and continue with their lives. The wedding of Gage and Appleton was featured on the November 9 episode of The Kardashians on Hulu, with Kim Kardashian serving as the officiant for the Las Vegas ceremony.
"Listen, you really need to consider getting a prenuptial agreement," Kardashian, 43, advised Appleton ahead of his wedding, referencing a line from Kanye West's song "Gold Digger," where he emphasizes the importance of a prenup by stating, "We want prenup, we want prenup."
Additionally, in another part of the episode, she shared similar counsel with Gage.
"Allow me to offer a valuable piece of advice from a lawyer: consider getting a prenuptial agreement," suggested Kardashian. "I could potentially even draft it for you all, just with some general terms."
According to Us, Gage and Appleton officially signed a postnuptial agreement on May 3.
The couple, who are no longer together, fueled speculation of a romance in the earlier part of this year. In March, Appleton made his relationship with Gage public on The Drew Barrymore Show.
"During that time, he expressed his overflowing joy and deep affection, stating, 'I am thrilled and completely smitten. I feel immense gratitude to have the opportunity to spend my days with someone truly extraordinary. Love is an incredibly precious gift, and I believe that encountering someone you truly connect with is a remarkable experience.'"
Gage reaffirmed Appleton's feelings in a later interview conducted in the same month.
"I am filled with immense joy, incredible gratitude, and an overwhelming amount of love. This man is not only attractive but also carries himself well," the actor joyfully expressed on the Today show. "There's a certain charm that comes with being in London, and I believe I've experienced a glimpse into the British culture."
After exchanging vows at the iconic Little White Chapel in Las Vegas, Gage and Appleton officially announced their marriage in April.
As for the reason behind their divorce, a second source explained to Us that “several factors” ultimately led to the decision.
