At a dinner party for watchmaker Longines last month, 28-year-old Lukas Gage made light of his brief marriage, just after Chris Appleton had filed for divorce. He humorously compared the brand’s enduring quality to the short lifespan of his relationship.
The company has a 190-year history of supporting tradition, class, timekeeping, and style," the White Lotus alum joked at the party, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "I personally find that fascinating because some people can't even last 190 days in a relationship."
Gage then added, "I'm just kidding."
Gage and Appleton, both 40, had only been married for just over 6 months. Their marriage hit the 6-month mark at 205 days.
The couple first sparked rumors of dating in February when they posted vacation photos together on Instagram and flirted in the comments. Appleton officially confirmed their relationship a month later.

During a March appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, the celebrity hairstylist expressed his immense happiness and love, sharing his gratitude for being able to spend time with someone so special. He emphasized the uniqueness and significance of finding a connection with another person. In April, it was revealed that Gage and Appleton had gotten engaged, and shortly after, they eloped in Las Vegas with Kim Kardashian, a longtime styling client of Appleton, officiating the intimate ceremony.
"I feel incredibly honored that you have placed your trust in me for this. Both of you have such kind hearts, and my advice to you is to always support each other," Kardashian, 43, gushed to the newlyweds in a November episode of The Kardashians.
Later in a confessional, she added, "I just married my first couple! We are spreading so much love in the world, and I am truly happy for them."
The Skims mogul was thrilled for the couple but advised them to sign a prenuptial agreement. (Kardashian, an aspiring attorney who has been married three times herself, emphasized the importance of protecting their assets.) Us confirmed the day after the episode aired that Appleton filed for divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences." The documents showed that Appleton and Gage had signed a postnuptial agreement, suggesting they had taken Kardashian's advice seriously.

According to a source, the breakup was not a friendly one. They did not want things to end this way, and there were multiple factors that led to the decision. Another source claimed that Appleton ended the marriage due to Gage's infidelity, but this was denied by several other insiders.
