Jimmy Presnell from Love Is Blind shared his thoughts on the possibility of dating Jessica Vestal following his breakup with Chelsea Blackwell.

"I want to respect Chelsea, so I'm not considering dating Jessica," said Jimmy, 28, in an exclusive interview with We. "We have talked a bit, but not in a romantic way."

Jimmy has no regrets about proposing to Chelsea, but he does sometimes wonder about what could have been if he had chosen Jessica instead. They had a strong connection in the pods, but things ended when Jimmy realized Chelsea was the one for him.

In episode 11, Jimmy and Jessica met face to face for the first time at a lake party with the cast. During a private conversation, Jimmy explained to Jessica that she was his first choice until the final day in the pods. He feels like his confession may have been blown out of proportion.

He explained to Us that the way she looked at him and spoke to him brought back old feelings, but he clarified that he was just setting things straight with her. He wanted to let her know that the day before he proposed, she was his top priority, even though she had accused him of not loving her and not wanting the relationship to work.

Jessica, on the other hand, told Us that she didn't think much about Jimmy's comment. She mentioned that he acted appropriately considering he was engaged at the time. (Jimmy and Chelsea decided to end their relationship before walking down the aisle in the season 6 finale.)

"He handled himself well and respectfully at the lake party," she mentioned. "He expressed his happiness about marrying Chelsea and seemed confident in his decision. I didn't sense any regret or wishful thinking towards me."

Jimmy and Jessica’s relationship hit a rough patch towards the end of their time in the pods. Jessica gave Jimmy a letter she had written about her expectations for a future husband, but his response wasn't what she had hoped for. Upset, Jessica left their date early. This, combined with a long date with Chelsea on the same day, influenced Jimmy's final decision.

He told Us that he didn't feel compatible with Jess because of how she handled conflicts. He realized that he might face similar issues in the future, regardless of her physical appearance. He emphasized that he wouldn't tolerate being talked down to or disrespected.

During their arguments in the pods, Jessica jokingly warned Jimmy that he might need an EpiPen when he saw her in person. This comment became popular online after the show aired. However, Jimmy clarified that he didn't require any medical assistance during their meeting and stressed that appearances shouldn't be the primary focus.

Jessica shared the reason behind her comment during the dig, mentioning that it was not premeditated and was a result of feeling hurt after their breakup.

In her Instagram Story last month, she recalled, "He had mentioned that he needed to carry an EpiPen at all times due to his severe allergies, which could close his airways if not treated. This was on my mind for a few days. When I was expressing my feelings during our breakup, it was not planned or practiced. I was simply heartbroken, and in the moment, the EpiPen reference slipped out."

She continued, "It had been on my mind for a couple of days. I was thinking, 'If I'm going to date this man, I need to learn how to use this EpiPen so he doesn't choke.' When I was giving my breakup speech, it wasn't planned or rehearsed. I was just heartbroken, blacked out, and the EpiPen line slipped out."

New episodes of Love Is Blind season 6 air Wednesdays on Netflix.
