One of the essential side quests to undertake in Tears of the Kingdom is "Gourmets Gone Missing" from the Lucky Gazette. This quest is part of a series of 12 side quests that players must complete to obtain the highly coveted Froggy Armor Set and a substantial payout. While some of the side quests are relatively easy to solve, others require more effort.

The quest can be initiated at the Riverside Stable, and although it necessitates some back-and-forth running, it is critical to completing the Lucky Gazette quests and obtaining the Froggy Set.

Riverside Stable can be found at the coordinates 0355, -1129, 0009. To reach it, players can head south from Lookout Landing or east from Hyrule Field Skyview Tower. Once at the stable, it's recommended to activate the Tajikats Shrine to establish a Travel Point. First-time visitors can also speak to the stable master, who is located behind the counter, to receive one Pony Point.

The "Gourmets Gone Missing" side quest is a part of the Lucky Gazette quest line and can be unlocked by meeting with Penn and Traysi at the Lucky Gazette outside Rito Village. Link will have to complete 12 different side quests to complete this quest. Completing this quest will also unlock the Froggy Set for players.

Upon arriving at Riverside Stable, players should seek out Penn, who can be found standing by a tree to the left of the stable. Penn will then direct players to Gotter, who appears to be waiting for someone. This interaction will initiate the "Gourmets Gone Missing" side quest.

Once players have spoken to Gotter, they should proceed to the pens/piers located behind the stable. Gotter will inform players that his friends are running late and will provide a clue as to their whereabouts and what players should look for if they decide to search for them. He will direct players towards the Owlan Bridge, which should be their next destination.

At Batrea Lake, located at 0549, -1191, 0016, Link can find all three of Gotter's friends who have fallen ill from consuming a recipe left by Zelda. To understand the situation, Link must read the notepad placed in the middle of the camp. It reveals that the trio messed up the recipe for a Meat and Rice Bowl meal which requires three ingredients, Raw Meat, Hylian Rice, and Rock Salt.

At this point in the playthrough, it's highly likely that players have acquired at least one of each ingredient needed to make a Meat and Rice Bowl. To prepare this dish, simply use a cooking pot and follow the recipe listed in the notepad, without making any alterations.

However, if players are missing any of the required ingredients, there are a few ways to farm them:

For Hylian Rice, players can find it in various locations throughout the game.

Hylian Rice is readily available for purchase at Hateno Village and Goron City general stores, with an additional option to buy from Beedle at Riverside Stable. At a cost of only 12 Rupees per piece, it is an economical choice for beginners. As a matter of fact, Beedle's stall is conveniently located en route to Batrea Lake, making it a convenient stop for players in need of Hylian Rice.

In Tears of the Kingdom, players can obtain different types of meat by killing various animals. The recipe requires Raw Meat, which can be obtained from weaker wildlife like foxes and boars. However, if players defeat wild deer in the forest surrounding Batrea Lake, they will receive Raw Prime Meat instead. By using Raw Prime Meat in the Meat and Rice Bowl recipe, players can create a Prime Meat and Rice Bowl instead. The difference between the two is the amount of HP it can recover.

For those looking to find Rock Salt, its location is currently unknown.

Rock Salt is a versatile resource that players can obtain in a variety of ways. While it can be purchased at general stores, mining them from ore deposits in caves or wells is the most efficient method. In Tears of the Kingdom, there are numerous caves to explore and at least one of them will contain an ore deposit. Additionally, Rock Salt is also a common drop item, so players can easily acquire it without much effort.

After providing the Meat and Rice Bowl to Agnus, players will encounter Penn who expresses gratitude towards Link for aiding Gotter and his companions and clearing up the misconceptions surrounding the recipe that Zelda left behind. Depending on the progress achieved in the Lucky Gazette side quest, players may receive a reward from Penn that includes any one or two of the following items: 20 Rupees, 50 Rupees, 70 Rupees, 100 Rupees, x1 Froggy Sleeve, or x1 Froggy Leggings.

Basically, the more side quests Link has completed for Lucky Gazette, the higher the reward.
