Real Housewives of Miami alum Lenny Hochstein is accusing estranged wife Lisa Hochstein of abuse amid his defamation lawsuit.
Lenny, 57, claimed Lisa, 41, “consistently hit” him throughout their marriage, which began in 2009, according to documents obtained by We filed on May 17. The filings are the most recent addition to Lenny’s defamation case against Lisa that began in December 2023.
There are numerous instances of physical abuse by Lisa against Lenny throughout their marriage. Lenny never retaliated with violence or harm towards Lisa in any way. In fact, he never struck back or initiated any physical harm towards her.
Lenny emphasized that he never hit Lisa and that she had hit him multiple times. He clarified that the behavior she accused him of is actually her own, not his.
Lenny made it clear that he never felt scared by his ex-girlfriend. He mentioned that Lisa is quite small and never physically harmed him. He never believed that he was a victim of abuse. The only way she has ever hurt him is through her words, not actions.
Lisa's lawyer, Matthew Moore, rejected the accusations made by Lenny. He stated that Mr. Hochstein's claims are baseless, and they intend to demonstrate that this lawsuit is without merit.
The next court date for the former couple's legal dispute is scheduled for Thursday, May 30.
Lenny recently made allegations against Lisa, which came several months after Lisa accused him of abuse in November 2023. Lisa had shared a picture on Instagram showing a bruise on her arm, suggesting that her estranged husband was responsible.
"I have to share something I didn't want to, but I have no choice. Lenny is harassing me through the court system and others, and it needs to stop," she shared on her Instagram Story. The post disappeared after 24 hours. "This bruise is almost two weeks old from last season. You might have seen it on the episode where I talked to the women on the show about the divorce."
Shortly after Lisa's post, Lenny strongly denied the allegations of abuse. He filed a defamation lawsuit against the Bravo star, seeking damages of up to $100,000 and attorneys' fees. He claimed that Lisa got the bruise on her arm when she "lost her balance" while going up the stairs.

In the May filing, he repeated his claims by stating that Lisa fell on the stairs while yelling at him, causing the bruise. He emphasized that he did not touch her or do anything to make her fall on the stairs.
Lenny, a plastic surgeon, expressed that Lisa's accusations harmed his business. He mentioned that female patients canceled their plastic surgery appointments because they did not want to go to a surgeon who was being labeled as an abuser.
Lenny, when he filed in December 2023, shared exclusively with Us, "I believe that such a serious and terrible accusation must be addressed. I want to clarify that I have never laid a hand on a woman, especially not Lisa."
In response, Lisa spoke exclusively to Us and stated that she believed the lawsuit was a tactic by Lenny to financially deplete her.
Lisa expressed her belief that "litigator Lenny" is determined to financially harm her, stating that he enjoys filing lawsuits against her. In addition to the defamation case, Lenny and Lisa are currently in the midst of a contentious divorce. Lenny publicly announced his relationship with Katharina Mazepa, whom he proposed to in July 2023, after filing for divorce in October 2022. Lisa had previously accused Mazepa of being Lenny's "mistress," but Lenny clarified that they only began dating after his separation from Lisa.
Lenny then accused Lisa, who has since moved on with boyfriend Jody Glidden, of infidelity, calling her the “real homewrecker of Miami” in a statement to Us.
