The Heart-Stopping Moment: Lenny Hochstein's Jaw-Dropping Revelation During Katharina Mazepa's Proposal

Lenny Hochstein's proposal to Katharina Mazepa went smoothly, except for one thing that made him slightly anxious.

Instead of being nervous about the proposal itself, Hochstein, 57, revealed that he was more worried about being on the edge of a cliff. His original plan was to go to a cliff in Ibiza and watch the sunset, and he even had a close friend film the event. However, his fear of heights caused him more anxiety than the actual proposal.

Hochstein and Mazepa, aged 27, revealed their engagement on July 29th, following over a year of being in a relationship. Mazepa shared the news on Instagram, along with multiple photos capturing the couple's memorable moment- atop an ancient pirate cave, with a breathtaking view of the Es Vedrá sunset. Mazepa expressed that Hochstein asked to be together forever, and enthusiastically leaped into his arms, surprising him.

"Although I should have expected it, it was a bit unexpected to have Kat jump on me, as she thoroughly enjoys doing so," he jokingly shared with Us. Continuing their romantic getaway in Europe, the couple commemorated their latest milestone surrounded by their cherished close friends.

Hochstein and Mazepa made their romance public in May 2022, with the plastic surgeon confirming their relationship following his separation from Lisa Hochstein.

Lenny confirmed his relationship with Katharina, stating, "It is true that I am seeing Katharina, but this occurred after the decision to get divorced." He emphasized the challenging nature of the situation and requested privacy to prioritize the well-being of their children, who are of utmost importance to them.

Lenny and Lisa, aged 41, got married in 2009 and have two children together: an 8-year-old son named Logan and a 3-year-old daughter named Elle. Despite their ongoing divorce proceedings, Lenny expressed earlier this year that his views on marriage remain unchanged.

"I haven't become bitter. I don't feel any bitterness," he stated exclusively to Us in January. "Occasionally, things just don't work out."

When queried about the potential of getting married again, Lenny expressed his neutral stance towards it. "I'm undecided, neither inclined nor disinclined," he clarified. "I approach everything with an open mind."

Lisa wasted no time expressing her thoughts on Lenny's engagement, stating bluntly, "Congrats to my current husband and mistress on their engagement," in an Instagram Story on Saturday following the news.

In contrast, Lenny brushed off his estranged wife's remarks, noting, "Lisa will always find a way to portray herself as the victim, so her reaction wasn't surprising," he shared on Tuesday. "I don't waste any of my time dwelling on it."
