Lenny Hochstein, former cast member of The Real Housewives of Miami, is pushing back against his estranged wife Lisa Hochstein's accusations of abuse.
"I've reached my limit, especially with her most recent claim. It's gone too far," Lenny, 57, told We exclusively on Friday, December 1, after initiating legal action against Lisa, 41, for defamation. "My reputation is at stake here and it's worth more to me than any sum of money."
On Friday, Lenny sued Lisa, who had previously shared a photo of a bruise on her arm on her Instagram Story and suggested that she had been abused by Lenny. Lisa wrote, "Didn't want to have to share this, but I'm left with no choice. I'm being harassed through the court system and through 'others' by Lenny and it needs to stop." The November 22 post has since expired, but Lisa explained that the bruise was almost two weeks old from last season and that it was visible on an episode where she opened up to the women on the show about her divorce.
In court documents obtained by Us on Friday, Lenny vehemently denied Lisa's allegations and claimed that the bruise occurred after she "lost her balance" while walking up a set of stairs during an argument. Lenny accused his ex of harassment and is seeking damages of up to $100,000 as well as attorneys' fees.
"I've endured a lot of things she has said about me, but when she accuses me of physically abusing her, I can't just ignore that," he told Us, emphasizing that he is "against all forms of violence." He added: "I believe that a serious and heinous accusation like this must be addressed. The truth is that I have never struck a woman in my life, certainly not Lisa."
Lisa spoke to Us about the lawsuit, stating that they haven't received anything and expressing her belief that "litigator Lenny" is out to financially strangle her. She added that he seems to be constantly suing and not happy unless doing so. In addition to the defamation lawsuit, the couple is also involved in a contentious divorce battle, with Lenny filing for divorce from Lisa in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage.
Lenny told Us on Friday that despite his decision to move on, his wife doesn't care about what others think of him or how their separation will impact their children, 8-year-old son Logan and 4-year-old daughter Elle. Following his divorce filing, Lenny went public with his girlfriend Katharina Mazepa. In response, Lisa accused Mazepa of being Lenny's "mistress," but Lenny maintained that he and Lisa were already separated when he began dating Mazepa. In July, Lenny proposed to Mazepa. Now, Lenny is claiming that Lisa cheated on him with her current boyfriend, Jody Glidden.

"Lenny vehemently denies Lisa's ongoing smear campaign to portray me as a cheater and my fiancée as a 'mistress,'" Lenny told Us. "These allegations are entirely untrue. Katharina is not to blame for the end of my marriage, and there was no blindsiding involved. Lisa may label Katharina as a 'homewrecker,' but in reality, Lisa is the one who cheated, had an affair, and wrecked our home." - reported by Andrea Simpson
