Patrick Vieira is a potential candidate being considered for the position of head coach at Leeds United. Interviews are planned for this week, and among those scheduled to meet with the Elland Road hierarchy is former Norwich boss Daniel Farke.
Leeds, now back in the Championship after three years in the Premier League, are currently without a manager. Sam Allardyce stepped down from his position on June 2nd following the team's unsuccessful attempt to avoid relegation.
After taking over from Javi Gracia, who had not managed since 2021, Allardyce was entrusted with the task of keeping Leeds afloat for four games. However, despite his efforts, he was unable to secure a victory, suffering three losses and settling for a draw in the remaining match. In light of Allardyce's departure, the club has stated that they will provide an update on the appointment of a new head coach in the upcoming weeks.

Sam Allardyce left Leeds following relegation
Leeds had already sacked Jesse Marsch in February despite backing him with more than £140m over the past two transfer windows with the club in 17th.
Former Watford manager Gracia was subsequently appointed on a "flexible" contract, but his tenure was short-lived, lasting only 11 league games. Although he achieved three victories, the club's management took further action as Leeds narrowly remained outside the relegation zone solely by goal difference.
In an attempt to salvage the situation, Allardyce assumed the role with the objective of keeping Leeds in the league. However, despite facing formidable opponents such as Manchester City, Newcastle, West Ham, and Tottenham, he was unable to reverse the team's fortunes during a challenging end-of-season period.
