Lala Kent responds to Garcelle Beauvais' choice to 'protect her peace' by unfollowing her on social media following her son Oliver Saunders' appearance on 'Vanderpump Rules'

Lala Kent commented on Garcelle Beauvais' decision to unfollow her on Instagram during an episode of her podcast, "Give Them Lala." Lala, 32, expressed her previous positive feelings towards Garcelle, 56, but mentioned being deeply affected by the situation involving Garcelle's son's ex-wife on the show Vanderpump. This led Lala to develop a strong dislike towards the person involved.

Oliver, a 32-year-old waiter at Vanderpump à Paris in Las Vegas, joined Vanderpump Rules in season 10. His encounter with Raquel Leviss raised questions about his relationship status with his estranged wife, Samantha Saunders. Samantha claimed that she and Oliver had not broken up at the time of the kiss in summer 2022, but Oliver disputed her version of events.

During an interview on Wednesday, Lala expressed her thoughts on the situation, stating that people like that could be detrimental to one's mental well-being. She made it clear that she did not blame Garcelle for the situation. Lala found it peculiar how someone would want to protect their peace from her, especially considering her respectful and positive feelings towards Garcelle.

Garcelle recently admitted that she decided to unfollow Lala due to her remarks about Oliver on Pump Rules. During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Garcelle expressed her disapproval of Lala's comments and mentioned that she had previously liked her. Consequently, Garcelle unfollowed Lala. Interestingly, both Garcelle and Lala ended up sitting at the same table during Lisa Vanderpump's gala for her dogs. However, Garcelle and her company chose to leave the table and the event after the encounter. Michelle Buteau, another guest on the show, commended Garcelle for prioritizing her peace of mind.

Lala, on the other hand, stated that she couldn't remember sitting with Garcelle at the Vanderpump Dogs gala. "I don't believe I saw her," Lala explained. "Perhaps she noticed me and decided to avoid me. I must say, I respect anyone who prioritizes their peace, even if it means distancing themselves from me. Each person does what they must to find peace." Lala further expressed her understanding of Garcelle's perspective as a mother.

Lala expressed her unwavering support for her daughter Ocean, stating that she didn't care what she may have done, as she is her mother. She found it puzzling and frustrating when she read things about herself that seemed nonsensical, feeling as though she was reading a different language. Lala was taken aback when her peace was seemingly threatened by Lala Kent, questioning why such a situation would even arise.

Furthermore, if Lala had known that Garcelle and Oliver were uncomfortable at the gala, she would have preferred to leave instead. She believed that Garcelle should have been able to enjoy the evening and expressed her tiredness as a reason for leaving early. Despite encountering a difficult day, she still wished that Garcelle and Oliver had stayed, as she would have been the one to depart instead.
