Garcelle Beauvais has shut down rumors of using Ozempic to lose weight. Speculation arose after a photo of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and her costar Sutton Stracke was shared on the official Bravo Twitter account on June 10th, prompting a fan to question whether Beauvais had tried the weight loss drug.
A Twitter user commented on Gracelle's weight loss, questioning whether it was due to Ozempic or healthy eating habits. In response, the Jamie Foxx Show alum firmly denied any involvement with Ozempic and expressed her disinterest in using it.
Several Bravolebrities have come forward and confessed to using prescription drugs to aid their weight loss journey. This medication is commonly prescribed to type 2 diabetes patients to regulate blood sugar levels. In support of her fellow cast member, Stracke, aged 51, exclaimed, "Gettem!"
Reality TV star Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi shared with her Instagram followers on June 8 that she has decided to take a break from her Ozempic injections due to unintended weight loss. The 41-year-old California native disclosed that she lost more weight than she had anticipated, going from 138 pounds to around 110 pounds. GG plans to only weigh herself on the days she receives her injections moving forward. On April 30, she weighed in at 111 pounds.

Gharachedaghi previously opened up about using a generic version of the popular drug in February.
"I am currently using weight loss shots," she shared on Instagram. "Transparency is important to me, and I want to be honest about my journey." Dolores Catania from Real Housewives of New Jersey has also shared her use of this controversial weight loss method.
During an April appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, she joked about not wanting to appear bigger than anyone else at the RHONJ Season 13 reunion and mentioned her use of Ozempic. However, when faced with criticism from those who believed the medication should only be used by diabetics, the 52-year-old former surgical assistant clarified that she was taking Ozempic for medical reasons.
In an April episode of Page Six's "Virtual Reali-Tea" podcast, she opened up about the challenges she faces with menopause, thyroid issues, inflammation, and difficulty losing weight despite regular exercise and a healthy diet. She expressed that it's a complex issue with multiple layers contributing to her weight gain. Similarly, other celebrities have also shared their negative experiences with Ozempic. For instance, Amy Schumer revealed during a June appearance on WWHL that she had tried the medication a year ago but found the side effects unbearable.
During a January 2023 appearance on the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast, TikToker Remi Bader shared that she attributed her weight gain to Ozempic when she stopped taking the injections and ended up gaining double the weight back.
"After consulting with a doctor, the content creator, aged 28, was informed that their weight loss was directly linked to their use of Ozempic. The medication had suppressed their appetite for an extended period, leading to the shedding of some pounds. However, the creator was concerned about becoming too reliant on the medication and was apprehensive about the potential for increased hunger once they stopped using it. Unfortunately, their fears came true, and they found themselves struggling with binge-eating once again."
