Hachimura also mentioned that this episode marked his first time participating in dubbing work for any project, where he provided his voice and appearance for the TV Asahi Network, which produces and broadcasts the show in Japan.

Crayon Shin-chan is a Japanese manga and anime series that revolves around the main character Shin-chan, a young boy who frequently finds himself involved in various troublesome situations and playful antics. The series first premiered in 1990 in Japan's Weekly Manga Action magazine published by Futabasha. It was later adapted into an anime series, which continues to be aired today and has gained immense popularity worldwide.

Rui Hachimura relocated from Japan to pursue college basketball in America after graduating from high school. He was subsequently scouted and drafted by the Washington Wizards, where he played as a small forward. However, he will soon be making a move to the Los Angeles Lakers later this year.
