Britney Spears became embroiled in a physical altercation with the security team of NBA star Victor Wembanyama during her time in Las Vegas on Wednesday, July 5. It has been confirmed by reliable sources.
According to an insider, Britney spotted Victor and approached him to request a photo. However, at that moment, his security team was overwhelmed by fans, causing Victor to turn around and unknowingly strike Britney in the face, accidentally knocking off her glasses.
The head of security for the San Antonio Spurs approached Britney and offered an apology, leading to a conversation between their respective security teams. According to an insider, Britney's team also filed a police report.
Britney Spears, 41, visited Catch restaurant at the ARIA Hotel on Wednesday around 8:30 p.m. PT. The reliable source confirmed that Spears was accompanied by her husband, Sam Asghari, and a member of her security team during the incident.

The specific information regarding the police report and any potential pursuit of criminal charges by Spears remains undisclosed.
Shortly after sharing a series of dance videos on Instagram, Spears encountered Wembanyama's team. In one clip, she sported neon pink bikini bottoms, a white top, and matching white boots as Aerosmith played in the background.
Captioning a second video, Spears expressed her dissatisfaction with her hair after breaking a sweat. She wore the same alluring attire and showcased her dance moves from her living room.
Prior to the Vegas incident, Britney Spears had a long-awaited reunion with her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears. After years of familial challenges, the two finally had the opportunity to spend quality time together. Britney took to social media on June 20 to express her joy at visiting her sister on set, along with her partner, Hesam Asghari. She shared photos and expressed her gratitude for the vacation, stating that she feels incredibly blessed. With this new chapter in her life, Britney is ready to embody the queen of hearts.
Britney's complicated relationship with her family started in 2008 when she was placed under a conservatorship. The conservatorship was officially terminated in November 2021, allowing her to mend fences with her sister and mother, Lynne Spears. They recently reconnected after being separated for more than three years. Britney's father, Jamie Spears, previously had control over her conservatorship.
Last month, Wembanyama made headlines as he was chosen as the No. 1 player in the 2023 NBA Draft. The French basketball star will be starting for the Spurs in the upcoming 2023/2024 season.
Wembanyama, since being drafted, has had to adapt to a life in the limelight. "I can't believe it's already the middle of 2023," he wrote as a caption for a collection of Instagram photos, capturing the highlights of his eventful year.
