Kylie Kelce is incredibly proud of her husband, Jason Kelce, both on and off the field.

"Pulling this one out of the archives to congratulate this guy on his retirement," Kylie, 31, shared on Instagram on Thursday, March 7. "Your impressive 13-year career is a result of your hard work, determination, and resilience. I am so proud to be your wife and excited to see what the future holds for you. The girls and I will be there supporting you every step of the way!"

Kylie shared a heartfelt tribute to her husband Jason, along with a lovely photo of the two of them celebrating his team's victory at the 2018 Super Bowl. In the picture, Kylie is smiling at the camera while Jason raises his arms in excitement next to the Eagles mascot Swoop.

Just recently, Jason announced his retirement from his 13-year career as a center for the Philadelphia Eagles. During his emotional 40-minute press conference, he expressed his gratitude to his brother Travis Kelce, his mom Donna Kelce, and his dad Ed Kelce. Jason also made sure to mention his wife, reminiscing about the night they first met.

"I remember the Eagles’ Christmas party in 2014 like it was yesterday. After the party, a group of my teammates and I went to Buffalo Billiards, where my life took a significant turn," he shared. "That night, I met the woman who would become my future wife. Her entrance into the room is still vivid in my memory."

He added, "As she walked in, it felt like she glided effortlessly, with an aura of charm surrounding her. When she started speaking, I couldn't help but wonder, 'Is this what love at first sight feels like?' She possessed a unique blend of beauty, intelligence, seriousness, and playfulness that captivated me instantly."

Kylie and Jason started dating in 2015 after meeting at a bar. They got married three years later and had their first child, daughter Wyatt Elizabeth, in October 2019. Their family grew with the additions of daughters Elliotte Ray in 2021 and Bennett in 2023.

After Jason gave a heartfelt speech, Kylie shared with NBC Philadelphia that her husband gave her "far too much credit" for their meeting. She found his gesture "very, very sweet." Kylie also mentioned that Jason spent years refining his farewell address. "He worked on multiple versions over the past four years before deciding on the final draft," she revealed. "Each year, he would start fresh, reevaluating what truly mattered to him. When he mentioned considering retirement for years, he truly meant it."

Speculation about Jason potentially retiring started in January after the Eagles were eliminated from the playoffs by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Following the defeat, Jason was visibly upset and reportedly shared his decision with his teammates, according to NFL insider Adam Schefter.

Later, on an episode of his podcast "New Heights," Jason reassured fans that when he decided to officially retire, he would announce it in a proper manner.

He explained that he didn't intentionally announce his decision because people can sense body language and emotions. He felt that making a decision right after a game filled with emotion was not ideal. Kylie, on the other hand, mentioned on Good Morning America in January that she would stand by Jason regardless of his final choice.

She expressed her belief that constantly pondering "What if?" scenarios like "What if I kept going?" or "What if I played one more season?" could be detrimental to one's well-being. She also mentioned her confidence that regardless of his decision, he will achieve success.
