Kim Zolciak's Hilarious Nail Dilemma: Why She Couldn't Punch Kroy Biermann

Reality TV star Kim Zolciak-Biermann's denial of allegations that she punched her husband, Kroy Biermann, amid their divorce filing, is refuted Discover the truth behind their marital conflict

During the dispute, Zolciak-Biermann asserted that she would find it physically impossible to punch Kroy Biermann.

On Thursday, July 13, the reality TV star admitted during a 911 dispatch tape obtained by Us that she couldn't punch him due to her long nails. "I can't form a fist," she stated.

Zolciak-Biermann isn't the first Bravolebrity to rely on their nails as a defense when accused of throwing a punch. Scheana Shay made a similar claim in March when Raquel Leviss accused Shay, 38, of punching her after discovering Leviss' affair with their Vanderpump Rules costar Tom Sandoval. Leviss, 28, initially filed an order of protection against Shay, but dropped it later that month.

Shay asserted to Lala Kent on her "Scheananigans" podcast in March that she did not physically strike her. She also mentioned that she struggles to form a fist due to her long nails.

Zolciak-Biermann, on the other hand, brought up this argument just a day before both she and Biermann initiated divorce proceedings after being married for 11 years. The singer of "Ring Didn't Mean a Thing" also claimed in a phone conversation in May that Biermann had secured all of her handbags in a safe and had taken her car keys in an attempt to prevent her from leaving their residence. Allegedly, he had also kept her away from her luggage, including her passport.

The public continued to witness the exes' tumultuous divorce proceedings and heated custody battle. Biermann alleged in a filing made in May that his estranged wife had a gambling issue, which he believed hindered her ability to adequately care for their children.

Zolciak-Biermann recently filed a motion, asking for a drug screening for her ex-husband, Kroy Biermann. She expressed concerns about their children's safety and well-being, stating that she had witnessed him smoking marijuana. They share four minor children together, KJ, Kash, Kaia, and Kane, and Biermann has also legally adopted Zolciak-Biermann's two daughters from previous relationships, Brielle and Ariana.

The couple's separation, which received significant media attention, was called off almost three months later. Zolciak-Biermann filed to dismiss her divorce filing on July 7, as revealed by court documents obtained by Us. Following their reconciliation, a source exclusively informed Us that their mutual friends were not surprised by their decision to give their marriage another try.

"Their initial filing was actually more surprising as their friends never observed any issues in their relationship," the insider disclosed.

Days following their reconciliation, RadarOnline obtained footage of a previous altercation between the couple that took place weeks before their decision to reunite. In the video, the couple, who were estranged at the time, can be seen arguing after the arrival of police officers at their residence. Zolciak-Biermann referred to her husband using strong language and accused him of locking her out of their home and taking her car keys. In the emotionally charged clip, she also confided in a friend over the phone, expressing her concerns about her husband's mental state and stating her exhaustion with the ongoing situation.
