Kim Zolciak-Biermann and Kroy Biermann's failure to respond to a lawsuit from their bank will have significant financial consequences for them. Court documents reveal that the couple received a final default order on October 27 from Simmons Banks. As a result of their failure to provide a response within the allotted 15 days, the court has mandated that they pay the bank a total of $226,836.22. Additionally, they are responsible for $178.51 in interest from October 5, $2,071.57 in foreclosure fees, $1.945.31 in attorneys' fees, and $59.50 in per diem charges.

The Simmons Bank lawsuit, filed in July, involves a home equity line of credit that Zolciak-Biermann and Biermann defaulted on, according to documents obtained by Us.

This news follows a temporary order issued three days ago, granting Zolciak-Biermann and Biermann exclusive use of their Georgia mansion until it is sold. Zolciak-Biermann will reside in the basement/nanny suite, while Biermann will occupy the primary bedroom. The couple, who have four children together, recently listed their Georgia home for sale at a price of $6 million in an effort to prevent foreclosure in November.

This year hasn't been the first time Zolciak-Biermann and Biermann's home has faced foreclosure. In February, it was confirmed that the mansion was in foreclosure, despite Zolciak-Biermann previously denying the claims. However, Brock & Scott, PLLC announced that the auction for the property would no longer take place.

Zolciak-Biermann and Biermann have encountered numerous challenges this year, with the most significant being their divorce filing in May after a decade of marriage. A source has disclosed that the couple's relationship was affected by their financial difficulties. Specifically, their reported outstanding tax debt of $1.1 million to the IRS, along with other financial pressures, have placed immense strain on their marriage. Ultimately, it was the tax debt that proved to be the final blow to their relationship.

Zolciak-Biermann and Biermann briefly reconciled in July, but their reunion was short-lived. The following month, Biermann filed for divorce for the second time, claiming that their marriage was beyond repair.

In August, Zolciak-Biermann grabbed attention once again when she faced a lawsuit over unpaid credit card bills. According to documents obtained by Us at the time, the reality star owed a total of $156,080.64, including accrued interest, due to her alleged failure to make payments on the HSBC/SAKS credit card.
