Kim and Khloe Kardashian's Shocking Response to Kanye West's Controversial Antisemitic Remarks!

Khloé Kardashian and Kim Kardashian denounced Kanye West's offensive comments about the Jewish community in response to public criticism. In a recent episode of The Kardashians, which aired on Thursday, July 6, Kim, 42, addressed her ex-husband's derogatory remarks and shared her own reaction.

"I empathize deeply with him. It seems like he doesn't even have the capacity to feel sorry for himself, or perhaps he simply doesn't grasp how. I just can't shake this feeling of sadness," expressed the Skims founder to Khloé, 39, in a recorded conversation from October 2022. "If I were to try reaching out, he'd probably react negatively. Yet, I can't help but feel guilty for publicly supporting the Jewish community, especially now that people are disassociating themselves from him. I can't help but wonder, was it my action that pushed them away? Should I have stayed silent, even though I'm vocal about everything else? I'm always uncertain about what course of action to take."

In a Twitter outburst earlier that month, the rapper, 46, raised eyebrows with his post about "going death con 3 [sic] On JEWISH PEOPLE." He further commented, "What's ironic is that I can't possibly be anti-Semitic because black people are also Jews. You have consistently manipulated and ostracized anyone who challenges your agenda."

In October 2022, Kim wasted no time in addressing Kanye's controversial social media posts. Taking to Twitter, she expressed her firm stance against hate speech and stood in solidarity with the Jewish community. Kim urged for an immediate end to the deplorable violence and hateful rhetoric directed towards them. Following the widespread attention garnered by Kanye's comments, his social media accounts underwent temporary restrictions and he faced the consequences of being dropped by numerous brands.

In the episode, the aspiring lawyer openly expressed her internal struggle in speaking out against Kanye. She admitted feeling emotionally torn and unsure how to handle the situation. Kim, who has children with Kanye, shared her conflict in not wanting to contribute to his downfall. This conversation took place during her Hulu series.

Khloé, on the other hand, advised her sister not to let Kanye's highly irresponsible actions impact her.

Kim, I feel immense guilt and sadness every single day when I think about Lamar, my ex-husband. It weighs heavily on my heart. Additionally, I can't help but feel sorry for Tristan as he currently doesn't have a team. Lamar's struggle with drug addiction will always be a part of his legacy and it saddens me. I know these are Kanye's statements, but that doesn't mean we don't empathize with the situation.

In the past, Khloé publicly criticized Kanye on social media for his negative remarks about her family. In October 2022, he brought up his grievances with Kim's loved ones while defending his Yeezy season 9 show. During the event, he wore a T-shirt that controversially proclaimed "White Lives Matter."

"Why was it that everyone felt so comfortable attacking me over my T-shirt, yet Candace Owens was the only public figure who acknowledged the Kardashians' wrongful action of barring me from seeing my daughter?" Kanye shared on Instagram. He was referring to his previous claims about not being invited to his daughter's birthday party. "Or is it that we only come together to criticize a Black man who dares to express his political beliefs?"

Furthermore, Kanye added, "And to all those who were outraged over my T-shirt, where were you when I was unable to see my children? I made my situation public in the hopes of garnering support from the public."

In response, Khloé addressed the musician's accusations in the comments section, expressing her love for him. She requested for the discussion to not be on social media, as he consistently brings it here. Khloé emphasized that he is the father of her nieces and nephews, and she aims to be respectful. However, she urged him to stop disparaging Kimberly and involving their family when he wants to divert attention. Khloé reminded him that he himself acknowledged that Kimberly primarily takes care of their children 80% of the time. She requested that he leave Kimberly and the family out of it, allowing the kids to be raised in peace. Khloé reassured him that her intentions come from a place of love and offered to continue the conversation privately if he so desires.

Two months later, Kim reflected on the challenges she faced while attempting to care for her children amidst her tumultuous divorce from Kanye. (The former couple finalized their divorce in November 2022.)

“I made sure to protect him, and I will continue to do so in the eyes of my children. In our home, my kids are completely unaware of what happens in the outside world," she shared during her appearance on the "Angie Martinez IRL" podcast in December 2022. "I am barely holding on. I am aware that this may not last much longer, but as long as it does, I will do everything in my power to shield them from it. My children are oblivious to everything."

The author of Selfish also mentioned how she took measures to safeguard her children from online exposure.

"It's a full-time commitment, but it's worth it because I want to separate myself from certain thoughts and statements that aren't representative of who I am," Kim expressed. "However, even if I'm going through something at home, when we're on our way to school and my kids want to listen to their dad's music, I have to put on a smile, turn up the volume, and sing along with them, no matter what we're facing. I have to pretend everything is fine until I drop them off, and then I can finally let my emotions out and have a good cry."
