According to court documents obtained by Fox News on July 11, Kevin Costner has been ordered by a judge to pay his estranged wife, Christine Baumgartner, $129,755 per month in child support. Additionally, Costner is obligated to cover $200,000 in attorneys' fees and $100,000 in forensic costs based on the interim ruling.
Costner filed documents on July 10th, requesting Baumgartner to cover his attorneys' fees during their divorce proceedings. A hearing regarding this matter is scheduled for early August, according to the obtained paperwork. As for their three children, Cayden (16), Logan (14), and Grace (13), the couple will equally share the costs of their healthcare, sports, and extracurricular activities. Payments will be made on the first of each month, with credit given for payments made between July 1st and July 12th.
According to documents obtained by Us, Baumgartner requested $248,000 per month in June to support their children. Costner, in response, stated that he will earn considerably less in 2023 due to his departure from the Paramount series and won't be able to meet the requested amount.
Costner also criticized his estranged spouse for her spending habits, alleging that Baumgartner used his credit card for divorce-related expenses without his knowledge. In July, Costner disclosed that he had no other option but to reduce Baumgartner's credit card limit to $30,000 per month after discovering her high charges.

Baumgartner's divorce from Costner, after being married for 19 years, grabbed headlines in May. Since the separation, the former couple has been embroiled in a messy legal dispute over various matters including their shared home, custody, and child support.
As per their prenuptial agreement, Baumgartner was expected to leave the house within 30 days of filing for divorce. However, the handbag designer claimed that she lacked the finances to relocate with their children. In late June, a judge ruled that Baumgartner must leave the residence by July 31.
According to an exclusive source, the ongoing legal dispute between Costner and Baumgartner is intensifying and shows no signs of improvement. Last month, the insider divulged that the situation between them was expected to deteriorate further. The source explained that Kevin's stance on the matter is straightforward: Christine initiated the separation, therefore she should adhere to the provisions stated in their prenuptial agreement, which gives her 30 days to vacate the premises after filing for divorce. This could potentially result in a acrimonious court battle, as Kevin is known for his unwavering principles and resolute nature.
