Kevin Costner Spotted in Intimate Encounter with Jewel Amidst Divorce from Christine Baumgartner

In a surprising turn of events in 2023, Kevin Costner was seen vacationing with Jewel following his divorce from ex-wife Christine Baumgartner. The 68-year-old actor and the 49-year-old singer were spotted getting close on Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands, where they attended a tennis fundraiser for Jewel’s Inspiring Children Foundation. Photos published by TMZ on December 8 showed Costner with his arms around Jewel as she addressed a crowd, and the pair also posed together in matching all-white outfits.
Costner attended the event as a special guest, and according to TMZ, he and Jewel flew to the Caribbean together. During their visit, the two were reportedly seen displaying flirtatious behavior and later departed the island together. Jewel recently expressed her gratitude towards Costner in an Instagram post, acknowledging his support for her organization's recent achievement. She also mentioned that Costner mentored the children involved in the foundation's tennis event on Necker Island.
Costner and Baumgartner, who married in 2004, completed their divorce in September following a tumultuous four-month legal struggle. Baumgartner first filed for divorce in May, catching their close friends and family off guard.
"At the time, everyone believed that Kevin and his wife were incredibly happy. ... He was completely caught off guard," a source told us exclusively.

After a court hearing in September, Costner publicly addressed his split for the first time, telling Access Hollywood, "It's a terrible situation to be in, but this is where we find ourselves." He went on to express his conflicting emotions about the process, saying, "It's really tough, especially when it involves someone I care about deeply on the other side, I just can't handle it."
Costner stated that he still loves Baumgartner and that everyone involved wanted the legal dispute to be resolved quickly. Prior to reaching their agreement, Costner and Baumgartner engaged in a lengthy back-and-forth, including a dispute over their children's ability to fly private. They share three children: Cayden (15), Hayes (14), and Grace (13). Costner also has children from previous marriages with ex-wife Cindy Silva and ex Bridget Rooney.
Baumgartner requested nearly $200,000 per month in child support from Costner, arguing that the kids should have the opportunity to "live a lifestyle relatively comparable to the one they enjoy when they are with their father," according to a filing in August. Costner was initially ordered to pay $129,755 per month, but in September a judge ruled that child support would be set at $63,209 per month.

Jewel, meanwhile, was married to rodeo star Ty Murray from 2008 to 2014. The former couple welcomed their son, Kase, in 2011.
