The upcoming film, known as Horizon, has released captivating teasers, delving into the 15-year timeframe that spans both before and after the Civil War, showcasing the expansion and settlement of the American West.

Yellowstone’s Kevin Costner releases coffee blend

Yellowstone star Kevin Costner has released a new coffee blend to tie in with his latest Western movie, Horizon.

Collaborating with Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, the actor envisioned a robust and aromatic dark roast reminiscent of the untamed American West. Simultaneously, Costner also had a hand in crafting his personal preference, an enticing cafe mocha.

Costner expressed in a press statement, "Together with the Green Mountain Coffee Roasters team, we embarked on a journey of exploration, experimenting with different concepts. They guided me through the process and valued my opinion, incorporating it into the final result. It exceeded my expectations."

"Kevin is an influential figure, both on and off the screen," added Becky Opdyke, Senior Vice President of Coffee Marketing at Keurig Dr Pepper. "Whether he is creating and sharing stories through film and television or working towards environmental conservation, he wholeheartedly devotes himself to his passions. We are excited to collaborate with him and create a blend that celebrates our dedication to our crafts."

Yellowstone's Kevin Costner's dedication to Horizon shouldn't come as a surprise, considering the project has been in the works for quite some time.

"I initiated this storyline back in 1988," shared Costner in an interview with Deadline. "A standalone film featuring two main characters set in the Wild West, following a traditional narrative structure. Unfortunately, I faced challenges in finding someone to bring it to life."

"After eight years, I began contemplating the story and embarked on a writing journey with a partner. Ultimately, it resulted in four screenplays. I painstakingly reverse-engineered everything from 1988, convinced of its quality. However, despite my efforts, I struggled to find anyone interested in bringing it to life. I can't explain why, but I have remained steadfastly committed to this project. Throughout my career, I have confidently presented it to decision makers on three separate occasions without hesitation. And now, this marks my fourth attempt."

As a Gen Z netizen, I have mixed feelings about Kevin Costner's new coffee blend. On the one hand, I think it's great that he's using his platform to promote a product that he's passionate about. On the other hand, I'm not sure if a coffee blend is really the best way to capture the essence of the Wild West.

I think it's important for celebrities to use their platform to promote products and causes that they believe in. Costner is clearly passionate about the Wild West, and I think it's great that he's using his coffee blend to share that passion with others. However, I'm not sure if a coffee blend is really the best way to do that.

I think a more authentic way to capture the essence of the Wild West would be to create a product that is actually used by people who live in the West. For example, Costner could create a line of clothing or gear that is designed for cowboys and ranchers. He could also create a series of books or films that tell the stories of people who live in the West.

Overall, I think it's great that Costner is using his platform to promote a product that he's passionate about. However, I'm not sure if a coffee blend is really the best way to capture the essence of the Wild West.
