Despite the cold weather, Donna Kelce, mother of Travis Kelce, is determined to cheer on the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday, January 13. "I will be going to both games, yes," Donna, 71, confirmed to Extra on Friday, January 12, expressing her support for sons Travis, 34, and Jason Kelce as they make their playoff debuts.
Travis, a tight end for the Chiefs, is gearing up for a home game against the Miami Dolphins on Saturday. Meanwhile, 36-year-old Jason and his Philadelphia Eagles team are headed to Florida to face off against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday, January 15th.
Leading up to the games, the Chiefs' match has already grabbed attention due to the anticipated weather. In Missouri, where the team's Arrowhead Stadium is located, temperatures could drop as low as 2 degrees Fahrenheit. To prevent players and coaches from getting hypothermia, the NFL is taking extra precautions, such as distributing heavy coats and replacing sideline benches with heated ones. Meanwhile, Donna has her own plans to stay warm and cozy on Saturday.
Donna pointed out to Extra that she would be in the skybox, so it should not be too cold in Travis’ private suite at Arrowhead. However, she mentioned that the windows would be open and despite being in the first row, it would still be cold.

She added, “I have to have a blanket and I’ll have my winter coat on.”
Travis is preparing to return to the field after sitting out the game on Sunday, January 7th. "I'm ready to show off," Travis quipped on his "New Heights" podcast episode from Friday, making a reference to streaming platform Peacock broadcasting his team's game. "It's a Prime Time game, the spotlight will be on and I know it's going to be televised. Honestly, put me in a CBS parking lot and have me do a radio commentary, I don't need to be on TV to play football."
During their football games, Donna loves to show her support for both sons by wearing their team gear, often opting for a split jersey, jacket, and earrings when the Chiefs and Eagles face off. In an exclusive interview with We in November 2023, Donna mentioned that she has two bracelets that belonged to her stepmother, each adorned with charms symbolizing the Chiefs and Eagles. She wears the KC bracelet to Travis' games and the Philly bracelet to Jason's games, as a way to honor her stepmother's memory.
