Kaitlyn Bristowe faced a difficult time after her split from Jason Tartick. She disclosed that a panic attack led her to miss the inaugural People's Choice Country Awards. On Thursday, September 28, the 38-year-old shared an Instagram post with four pictures. While some showed her smiling, one depicted her in tears. Bristowe captioned the post, stating, "These pics were all taken today. Today was challenging, but I managed to persevere."
The former Bachelorette star, who disabled comments on her post, mentioned that she had intended to be present at the ceremony. However, her body had different intentions.
Experiencing a panic attack, which had only occurred four times in her life, she engaged in a gentle workout to energize her body, followed by a soothing facial, and a hair appointment. Now, all she needs is some rest.
Bristowe concluded by emphasizing the importance of listening to one's body and recognizing the unpredictable nature of emotions.
Bristowe’s honest post comes one month after she and Tartick, 34, announced their split after four years together.

They expressed gratitude to their family and close friends for being the first to know and for giving them the necessary time and space to process this life-altering decision. With heavy hearts, they acknowledged the emotions and adjustments that come with this change.
Tartick, on the other hand, made his debut on the red carpet at the People's Choice Country Awards on Thursday, marking his first public appearance subsequent to their separation. During the event, the host of the "Trading Secrets" podcast expressed that he will forever hold a significant place in his heart for his former partner.
"I genuinely hope that both Kaitlyn and I are doing well," he revealed to E! News. "She is an incredible individual, and I will always care for her."
Tartick expressed, "Both Kaitlyn and I are actively addressing this situation. We are taking it day by day, acknowledging there are ups and downs. Dealing with such circumstances is always challenging."

Prior to this, Bristowe, who has since unfollowed Tartick on Instagram, clarified that there was no negative event that led to their separation.
She stated in one of the August episodes of her podcast "Off the Vine" that neither of them has prioritized each other, resulting in the current situation. Bristowe has further discussed her emotions and the aftermath of their breakup in subsequent episodes, expressing disappointment in Tartick for not shielding her from online criticism.
Thank You!
During a recent episode of "Off the Vine," she discussed the importance of supporting one another during breakups. "We talked about the significance of having each other's backs," she mentioned. "When going through a breakup, it's natural to want to defend your standpoint and have someone do the same. We were absolutely on the same page about safeguarding each other."

Bristowe was specifically addressing a video Tartick shared on Instagram, which depicted their dogs, Ramen and Pinot, appearing sad as he relocated from their residence. Bristowe expressed her perspective, stating, "When he was emphasizing that sadness, I was thinking, 'Dude.' It didn't shield me, as it portrayed me as though I were separating the dogs from him."
