With the news of their breakup gaining attention in the Bachelor Nation, Tartick took the opportunity to honor his former fiancée.
He expressed his gratitude for the support and love he has received over the years via his Instagram Story, accompanied by a cozy photo with Bristowe.
In another Story, Tartick took a moment to reflect on the remarkable significance of his relationship with Bristowe. He conveyed his everlasting gratitude for having this wonderful person enter his life.
Tartick expressed in his third upload that he was "devastated" by the end of his relationship with Bristowe. He requested his fans to be compassionate as both of them embark on separate healing journeys.

Bristowe, in particular, expressed her desire for prayers for the emotional well-being of both herself and Tartick, acknowledging the negative impact that social media can have on one's mental health. This sentiment was shared by Bristowe through an Instagram Story post, wherein she also shared a vulnerable photo of herself in tears.
The reality TV stars initiated a romantic relationship in January 2019, and Tartick proposed in May 2021. Shortly before the pair confirmed their separation, fans started to question the state of their relationship in late July. Bristowe was seen without her engagement ring or her fiancé while on vacation. She later shared a cryptic message about dealing with "difficulties" while Tartick spent time with his family alone.
"I'm astonished that people expect things from me when I haven't had a chance to process them myself. Show some empathy," Bristowe expressed on her Instagram Story as the speculation persisted. She also mentioned feeling "scared" by the "comments and requests" for answers.

Reflecting on their "life-altering decision," the pair expressed their sadness in a joint statement on Sunday. They had already informed their family and close friends before announcing that they have decided to end their engagement, as stated in their Instagram post.
Bristowe and Tartick assured their fans that their dogs, Ramen and Pinot, will continue to be cared for as brothers even after their breakup. Although they are no longer involved romantically, they vowed to love and take care of their pets together.

Despite their separation, the couple promised to maintain a friendship. "We are thankful to be concluding our engagement with love and respect for one another. Though it is heartbreaking and sorrowful to bid farewell, our affection and admiration for each other will endure," they affirmed. Prior to this, Bristowe had been engaged to Shawn Booth, who emerged as the winner on season 11 of The Bachelorette. On the other hand, Tartick joined the show on season 14, competing for Becca Kufrin's affections.
