Allen expressed his astonishment to the cohosts, Dan "Big Cat" Katz and PFT Commenter (whose real name is Eric Sollenberger), stating that he is amazed that anyone still pays attention to that matter. He subtly implied that he avoids reading the news articles concerning his romantic life. He further elaborated that the photographs capturing the kissing moments were taken by photographers whom he noticed while he was on a boat.

Allen admitted that he experienced an unsettling sensation, characterized by both insecurity and a lack of privacy. He wondered aloud about people's behavior and their motives. In another part of the interview, Big Cat made a less-than-subtle mention of Seinfeld to Allen, asking if he is a viewer of the popular sitcom. The podcaster then playfully substituted the actress' name, referring to her as "Steinfeld" instead of using the correct comedy title.

Allen expressed his admiration for the sitcom without revealing his girlfriend's name during the conversation. However, he acknowledged to Big Cat that he made a sincere effort to subtly mention her name in their discussion. "Well done," Allen complimented.

Towards the end of May, Steinfeld and Allen caught people's attention when they were seen exiting a black SUV in New York City. As they strolled through a crowd, the NFL player was seen affectionately placing his arm around Steinfeld.

According to an insider, Steinfeld is taking things slow and not pressuring Allen, who recently started dating again. This romance began after fans noticed Allen's ex-girlfriend, Brittany Williams, stopped following him on Instagram in April. Though Allen and Williams haven't addressed their breakup, Williams has deleted all pictures of them from her social media.
