Hailee Steinfeld's Young Avengers Future: What You Need to Know

Hailee Steinfeld, known for her role as Kate Bishop in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Hawkeye, is uncertain about her future with the Young Avengers. Despite the character's debut in Phase 4, neither Kate nor Clint Barton have made another appearance in the MCU, despite the arrival of other Young Avengers. During an interview with the Happy, Sad, Confused podcast, Steinfeld expressed her uncertainty about Marvel Studios' plans for the team and her role in the franchise.

It's been some time since the conclusion of 'Dickinson' and the release of 'Hawkeye', and I am eagerly anticipating the opportunity to return to work. Even though only a few months have passed, it feels like an eternity since I last worked on set. Being amongst fellow professionals who share my passion for this craft creates a sense of belonging and comfort, and I can't wait to experience it again. I am truly itching to get back to it.

When Kate Bishop Could Return In The MCU Phase 5 Or 6

There is no official announcement yet, but it is likely that Kate and other upcoming heroes will eventually join forces in a Young Avengers project by Marvel Studios. It seems plausible that the studio wants to develop these characters further before bringing them together as a team. The question remains as to where Kate will show up next, whether it be in a movie or a series. It is possible that she may not return until Phase 6, unless she has already filmed something in secret. It is not unlikely that Kate could make her next appearance in either Avengers: The Kang Dynasty or Avengers: Secret Wars, given the sheer scale of these films. It makes the most sense for Kate to be part of the Avengers team and join the rest of the MCU.

It's a wonder that Kate hasn't appeared in any other MCU projects since her debut in Hawkeye in 2021, especially considering the warm reception she has received from fans. Her character arc has only just begun, and it would be exciting to see her story further developed in future Marvel Cinematic Universe productions. With the Young Avengers on the horizon, it's even more reason to look forward to Kate's return to the big screen.
