Jimmie Allen was dropped by his record label amidst sexual misconduct allegations. The entertainment firm, BBR Music Group, confirmed in a statement to Entertainment Tonight on Friday, June 9, that they have ended their professional relationship with him and he is no longer an active artist on their roster.
Allen’s name is not listed on BBR’s talent roster, despite the fact that the agency represents other notable artists like Jason Aldean, Lainey Wilson, Chase Rice, and Jelly Roll. The 37-year-old singer, known for his hit song “Down Home,” has been accused of misconduct by his former manager, who alleges that he assaulted and sexually harassed her. Allen has denied the allegations, stating that the relationship between the two was consensual.

Allen stated that he and his former manager had a sexual relationship that lasted for almost two years and emphasized that she never accused him of any wrongdoing during that time. He also claimed that she expressed a desire to continue their relationship and friendship indefinitely. However, Allen questioned her motives after their relationship ended when she hired a lawyer to ask for money. He strongly denied her accusations and deemed them false and damaging to his hard-earned career. Despite seemingly confirming infidelity with his former manager in a social media apology, Allen intends to aggressively defend himself against her claims and take legal action to defend his reputation.
"I deeply regret my actions and the pain and embarrassment they have caused my wife Alexis. She deserved better from me, and I am committed to making it up to her and earning back her trust. I am also aware of the negative impact my behavior has had on my children, and I take full responsibility for that. I am determined to be a better man and a better father, and to set a positive example for my kids. It is my hope that I can leave a positive legacy for the generations to come."
The "Big in a Small Town" singer announced that they will be welcoming another child later this year amidst their ongoing life changes. Their top priority remains ensuring the health, happiness, and love of their children, and they remain dedicated to co-parenting with love and respect. However, Allen has been named in a second lawsuit by an anonymous woman who alleges sexual assault and secret videotaping by the songwriter in July 2022. Allen has yet to address this second legal case.
