Jimmie Allen's former manager has dropped the lawsuit against the country singer, accusing him of sexual assault and rape. The woman, known as Jane Doe in court documents, decided to dismiss her claims against Allen in the Middle Tennessee District Court. She had initially sued the artist, his former management company Wide Open Music, and its founder, Ash Bowers, in May 2023. According to documents obtained by Us on Friday, March 15, a new agreement was signed on Thursday, March 14.

Jane Doe alleged in her initial lawsuit that Allen used his power to sexually harass and abuse her for a period of 18 months from 2020 to 2022.

According to Jane Doe's lawyers, she made it clear through words and actions that she did not welcome Jimmie Allen's behavior. She pushed him away, avoided being within his reach, expressed her discomfort, said no, and even cried uncontrollably. Despite this, Allen made it known that Jane Doe's job security depended on her keeping silent about his actions.

Allen is no longer facing legal trouble in the lawsuit, but Jane Doe is continuing to sue Wide Open Music and Bowers. She alleges that they were aware of Allen's alleged behavior, failed to take action to protect her, and terminated her employment when she raised concerns about it.

On the other hand, Allen is still entangled in legal issues as a second Jane Doe filed a lawsuit against him in June 2023. The case is currently pending, with the woman accusing Allen of sexually assaulting her in a Las Vegas hotel room and recording the incident without her knowledge.

Jane Doe 2 shared details of the incident that occurred in July 2022 at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas through her lawsuit. She mentioned that she willingly went into the bedroom with Allen. Despite her clear communication that she did not want him to ejaculate inside her due to not being on birth control, Allen allegedly disregarded her wishes. Additionally, she stated that Allen recorded the encounter on his phone without her consent.

Allen refuted all the allegations and stated that he would defend himself vigorously. He also filed a counter-lawsuit against both women. In his counter-suit, he accused Jane Doe 1 of defamation and claimed that Jane Doe 2 had taken the phone he supposedly used to record her.

In the aftermath of the lawsuits, Allen faced repercussions as his label, booking agency, former publicist, and management company all decided to suspend or drop him. In April 2023, Allen revealed to Us that he and his wife Alexis Gale had decided to "separate" after being married for two years. Despite filing for divorce later that month, the couple, who have three children together, were able to reconcile six months later.
