Jimmie Allen and his wife, Alexis Gale, are reconciling their relationship following the recent birth of their third child. According to a statement from Allen's representative, the couple has chosen to work on their issues together and remain together. It was also clarified that their previous divorce process was not finalized legally.

The couple reconciled after six months of their separation, which was announced when news broke that the country singer and Gale, 27, had ended their marriage of nearly two years. (They got married in May 2021.) Allen shared in an April statement to We, "After careful consideration and contemplation in recent months, Lex and I have chosen to separate."

At the same time, the singer of "Best Shot" revealed that he and Gale were anticipating their third child. He further stated that amidst this life transition, they will also be welcoming another child later in the year.

Allen emphasized that their utmost priority is ensuring the health, happiness, and love for their children. They are dedicated to co-parenting with love and respect. As their family expands, they kindly request privacy during this period.

Gale and Allen both filed for divorce on April 28, just two hours apart. Allen requested joint custody of their two daughters, Naomi (3) and Zara (23 months), while Gale sought to be the primary residential parent.

Shortly after news of their split spread, it was revealed in May that Allen is facing a lawsuit from his former manager, who accused him of assault and sexual harassment. Allen has denied these allegations, claiming that he and the employee involved had a consensual "sexual relationship" while he was still married to Gale.

"On May 18, Allen took to his Instagram to publicly apologize to his wife Alexis for the humiliation caused by his affair. He expresses embarrassment over the shame his choices brought upon her, acknowledging that she did not deserve it. However, the situation took a turn the following month when Allen faced a second accusation of sexual assault. As per the documents acquired by Us in June, a woman referred to as Jane Doe 2 claims that Allen sexually assaulted her in Las Vegas in July 2022 and secretly recorded the incident."

Allen once again refuted the allegations against him in July, stating to Us, "I have been subjected to racism and harmful threats for years simply because I am a Black man in the country music industry, and this situation has only intensified that. As someone who has family members who have suffered from rape and as a father to daughters, these false accusations are deeply painful to me and to those close to me."

He clarified that he chose to address the situation publicly at a later time because he prioritized "fixing my family first." Allen expressed his eagerness for the opportunity to "vindicate myself" as the two cases progress through the legal system.

Allen had reason to celebrate despite the two lawsuits he was facing and his troubled marriage, as his youngest child, son Cohen, was born on September 27. Gale announced the arrival of their baby on Monday, October 2, and shared a photo featuring their two other children. (Allen also has a son named Aadyn, 8, from a previous relationship.)
